Oh my. The truffles look amazing! I'm disappointed to say the cost was completely unjustified in the flavours. Taste unfortunately was... Not my favourite. I was very excited for the lavender and oh dear. Not a well balanced truffle the bitter clashed with a sickly sweet caramel with a heavy lavender smell and almost a gin smell, and the dark truffles are truly dark and bitter. Dark chocolate is usually my preference but not in these truffles. But really great packaging and they are very aesthetically pleasing. They look well tempered and have great cracking in their dark chocolate. Milk chocolate was far more dull, way less shine and less snap. The center of the milk chocolate sea salt caramel was liquid. It was not well set. The peppermint was possibly my favourite, very melty base, but the best of the box! Do mind it was a very overpowering peppermint flavour, if that aligns with your preference. CocoBistro chocolate is a quality product which "speaks for itself" once you taste just one chocolate. Of course, after the first chocolate you will definitely want more. I held a baby shower, and asked Audrey if she would have a chocolate making session for all my guests. I thought this would be more fun than the regular shower games. We split the guests into two groups to streamline the sessions. One group watched while the future mother opened gifts, and the other group made chocolates. Audrey provided a bit of "chocolate history" and step by step instructions for each group. I received many compliments on having this unique activity during a baby shower. Guests were definitely entertained. They also had samples to take home, if they didn't consume them on the spot. Thank you to Audrey for helping me to create an exciting "chocolate event" versus a regular humdrum...

I received the coolest pink polka dotted shoe ever! Not only does it look amazing it tastes DELICIOUS! I took my first birthday bite, out of the heel, and discovered it had chocolates in the toe of the shoe also! Woo hoo! ! I had the option of sharing some chocolates with my guests, but I didn’t. How could I share with anyone, it’s my favourite food group- CHOCOLATE! I ate a salted caramel chocolate, then a stunning blue coloured blueberry chocolate, I couldn’t stop there! The next chocolate had real raspberry inside…I clearly was in tastebud heaven! I continued to eat ALL of the chocolates myself, enjoying every single bite! Today, I will continue to be in tastebud heaven as I make my way through my pink polka dotted shoe! I will not be sharing that either! Happy...
