My procedure overall went really well. The receptionists and the intake nurse were kind and top notch. In the operating room, the doctor was texting or playing on on his cel phone while sitting in a chair. The anesthesiologist was also on her phone and chewing gum. The nurse who put my IV in was professional and efficient but was not friendly at all, and the whole room was cold and without empathy. This was a hard procedure for me to go through and there was no attention to my feelings. There was a girl in the room who just stood there and stared at me the whole time.while chewing gum. She was in regular clothes, not wearing scrubs. I don’t even know why she was there. She just stood there, leaning against the wall chewing gum staring at me.
