We came in Sunday night for dinner. Our waitress came took our drink orders and we also gave our food order. We asked for 1 meal to be a take out meal, she took the order and said she would be right back with the biscuits.
We saw her a few times tending to other customers, and we noticed all the people that came in around when we did got their food orders, and we had yet to even get our biscuits. We even had another server come by and asked if we had even been helped yet.
After 30 minutes of waiting we asked the other server if we could have biscuits. He got them to us within 30 seconds (no joke). She came by a few minutes later with biscuits and asked who had given us them, we told her another server. After finishing our biscuits (and literally 50 minutes from when we placed our order) our kids were getting antsy for food, as were we. Our food finally came out but someone else and it was cold. We let the lady who brought the food out know that the kids fries were cold, and so were my mashed potatoes. She said the manager would bring us new fries, and potatoes which she did.
The real icing on the cake though is when we asked for our bill the server says, "oh it will be a little bit longer for the take out meal", even though we ordered it when we placed our initial orders so that we could take it and leave as soon as we were done. We asked her to just cancel our order as we had already waited an hour for our food to begin with.
Really horrible service, and a really horrible experience.
update I wrote in about my experience as asked to. I got no reply to my message. What a waste of my time. They clearly...
Read moreWorse ever - First we notice that the waitresses were understaffed. Everything was rush rush rush. She finally came to our table and took our drinks. I ordered a water and a Singapore Sling. Later she rushed by and dropped off our water and my Sling. Before I could say anything she was gone. The Sling looked like something I never saw before. I took one taste, and it was terrible. When the waitress returned, I asked her what this was. She said it was a Singapore Sling. I said, "The hell it is, it's terrible." She took the drink away and later returned and said the bartender was in training and they would make me a another. She took our order which I ordered the ultimate fish dinner and requested that the crab food be taken out of their shells. She once again appeared at our table with another Singapore Sling and quickly left. I tasted this one and it was still bad. When our meal arrived, I told her about the drink and told her I'll just have water. When I started to eat the crab food it was full of tiny shells throughout. By now I was just fed up and requested a take-out carton. The waitress apologized and we took some of the food and began to leave. As we left the waitress, stopped my wife again and apologized and mentioned how stressed out she was. I will never visit the Red Lobster again and wouldn't go again even if they offered...
Read moreHad a great meal with my friend and at the end of our meal ordered a pound of snow crab legs to go for my daughter. Cost me $22.00. Gave me butter and buns as well, that was great!
However, when I took them out of the bag I realized that the container didn't even seem to weigh a pound with the two butters, crab and container weight total. So I took the legs out and weighed them on my kitchen scale. The legs by themselves only weighed 9 oz. Was supposed to be a pound remember! So I called the restaurant and your manager said come back and we'll get you the rest no problem. So I did. You offered me more buns, I said, no thanks and came home with the rest of the legs trusting you would have made up for the mistake. Again, didn't seem right weight wise, so I checked again and you gave me only 4.2 oz. again. This for a total of 13.2 ozs. Although that doesnt seem like far off from a pound technically you should have given me almost double that the second time if not more since I had to come back.
Just saying, you should pay a little more attention to weighing your portions at that price as opposed to guestimating!! Kind of like buying a dozen eggs and only getting 10 in the carton, not acceptable! ...
