Terrible experience here and it use to be our go to spot to get chicken for parties but never again. Your staff needs to communicate better with customers instead of blaming customers and saying that’s how we do it here. After we paid we were told it would be max 10 minute wait, well it wasn’t it was 20 plus minutes, and we were stuck waiting as they didn’t tell us before we paid or we would’ve left. Then after the chicken was finally done she cut the chicken then she put it back on the grill after it was already on the grill before so that told me right away it wasn’t cooked properly and tried rushing it cause usually they take it out of the cooker and put it on the grill then cut it, she also cut it in small little pieces and never asked if that’s how I want it only if I wanted sauce on my chicken. We asked for a refund as it was taking too long and they refused to give it to us instead decided to argue with us saying everything is already packed up for your order which it wasn’t we were still waiting on the chicken and potatoes were also sitting there not packed up. This place is also overpriced rather drive the distance and go to Ajax. Customer satisfaction isn’t at this place.

Update: The reply you gave maybe you would want to spell my name right as it shows. Also that is a lie I wasn’t offered a refund the brown cashier lady actually started arguing with me when I asked for a refund, the other short blonde lady said she will call the owner to see if we could get a refund and when she was on the phone asked how we payed and we said credit card but wasn’t given a refund they just hung up with the owner and nothing was done about it but wait for the chicken. A follow-up to my earlier review. The family meal indicated that the chicken was supposed to be BBQ. When I got home, I opened the container that is supposed to contain BBQ chicken. It had rotisserie chicken, which is cheaper than the BBQ and not what was advertised in the Family Dinner package advertised on the menu. How is it possible for chicken that is referred to as BBQ have absolutely zero BBQ sauce (refer to the photo)!?? This restaurant employs individuals who not only give preferential treatment to Caucasion customers, but also cheat customers that are not Caucasian. Do not support this restaurant.

On a side note...if you walk into a restaurant to purchase take out and notice that a customer is being served food that is exactly what you had planned to order, discreetly video tape the transaction (without revealing the identities) so that you capture the portions served AND video tape the portions that you are served. In hindsight, I should have done that. I will from now on.

UPDATE

With respect to the owners response, he was not there when a white male customer was given an over stuffed large container of potatoes while I was given 1/3 less. On top of that, a white couple who ordered potatoes amongst other items after I placed my large order received their potatoes before I did!! Even the cashier noticed this and had no explanation as to why that happened. On top of that, the white couple had their order placed on top of the warm oven while waiting for the potatoes. Our 1st time here and we are so impressed! We ordered the family pack for our family of 5 and portions were generous enough for dinner tonight and lunches tomorrow. The food was delicious and flavourful, had mild and hot sauce on the side, no sauce on the chicken, in case it was too spicy for the kids. Next time we will get the mild sauce on the chicken, so tasty and lemony. Rice and potatoes were yummy and salad veggies were fresh and crunchy. Also ordered the custard tarts, but so full from dinner we haven't had a chance to try them yet, but they look delish! The lady at the counter was lovely and personable.
