I went today for the first time since they reopened as “Nookies” and my friend asked for a whiskey sour and i asked for a double. Both of our drinks tasted extremely sour and didn’t taste like they had alcohol at all. I asked the bartender if mine was a double and she hesitated before saying “oops it wasn’t.” She reacted as if she was caught in not giving us what we asked and paused and waited for us to ask for a solution. Overall i’m pretty sure she gave us strictly just the sour mix with no alcohol. Also, when we asked when they closed she said “well, usually 12 but i’ve been here since 930 so i’m closing at 11. When we appeared dissatisfied with our service she randomly told us “actually i’m going to stay till 12 if you want to order another drink” after we already paid. I’ve never been inside this bar, but I have ordered twice through Uber eats and both times the food was excellent! The first time I got the pesto salmon, boyfriend got the pulled pork wrap and a burger. Everything was hot, fresh, and delicious. The salmon was cooked perfectly, and the pesto tasted homemade. Second time ordering, I got the garlic butter shrimp and the spinach dip, boyfriend got the wings and we got free samosas. The garlic butter shrimp was amazing! Only downside was the portion was kind of small, same thing with the dip (but it was delicious) boyfriend said the flats were kind of dry but they had great flavour. Have to experiences to share first one was whrn i went in with a date for a late night dinner and when we got there the atmosphere was so off and whrn we werw seated at the table the server completely ignored me but chose to talk to my date which just threw me off and the food was mediocre at best second experience was a few months after and this time it was a delivery order and immediately after ordering I realized i had made the wrong order so immediately cancelled turns out i still had to pay the $35 just because the restaurant is saying they already prepared the order in under 2 minutes as if that is possible they also denied me a pick up just a terrible...
