Pizza Nova — Restaurant in Oshawa

We have been loyal customers because the service and pizza has always been the best but today I am extremely disappointed by the service especially the driver Mr Rahmanzai actions. My husband normally does pick up with no problems.. I had done delivery today, bad idea.. not only did it take 45 mins but the pizza was burnt.. I did not ask for well done.. it was hard all around and tasted burnt. I don't typically ever complain but we could not stomach it and my kids were starving at this point. So I called customer service, I was kind and respectful. She was kind enough to send us another pizza. The same driver comes back 30 mins later with our delivery and asks for the first pizza BACK... I was flabbergasted.. this man had the audacity to question my honesty and dignity BY TELLING ME THEY NEED TO SEE THE PIZZA TO CONFIRM IT WAS BURNED and give me the new one. I was so mad but remained calm, went back into the house and got the pizza box out of the garbage. Then he takes the burnt pizza and tries to convince me that at Pizza Nova, this is how they make it.. I kindly said no sir I've been having pizza nova from this location for years and it never tasted like burnt pizza. The cheese and crust are the best part never hard or burnt. Used to love this place. I don't hate it now, but I placed an Uber Eats order with them now for the first time and it was both delivered really slowly and two veggie ponzerottis, but with pepperoni added that I never asked for. I called the restaurant and initially the guy argued with me and said that's the order I placed. But when I pushed back and said that's not true, he chatted with someone else in the store for a minute and then came back to me and said that there was another order with similar items so they made a mistake. He asked if I wanted replacements right away or some other day, and I said same day and he said ok it will be delivered and hung up on me. No time given and again no apology. I contacted Uber Eats and they clarified the same with the store but also said the store hung up before providing a time. Horrible...

I’ve been a loyal customer for a long time, and never any real problems. When l placed my delivery order tonight, l was called to meet the delivery driver, & no driver, no pizza! I called Pizza Nova and was told the driver went on to deliver another pizza. The very nice person who took my call said she would have a fresh pizza made and was giving me 50% off. After approximately 35 minutes the driver delivered my So Called Fresh Pizza. I paid in cash with a generous tip. Upon opening the box, l knew it wasn’t fresh, it was reheated from my original order. The crust was burnt, the cheese was dark and hard, not a gooey texture, like fresh from the oven! This is the store, not the folks who took my order!
