Me and my fiance just bought a dresser from here. I will preface this by saying the dresser meets expectations. The bad experience is regarding the salesman (Roger), who was very nice and sociable but lied about several things in order to push the sale through (if this gets back you, note that we would have bought this dresser without these tactics and you should refrain from them in the future as all it did was lose us money, when we were already spending 2K). The essence of the situation is that, as we didn't have a truck, we were trying to figure out the best way to transport the dresser. The salesman told us not to worry about that, they could take care of it. He ended up telling us, that actually we should pay for delivery with them (100$, instead of simply borrowing our friends truck), but that he could get us free installation (extra 70$), and Roger proceeded to lie and tell us that the dresser needs to be assembled and comes with a lot of pieces to put together (therefore this would save us a big headache). The dresser came fully assembled. Roger, who knew the model by name the second we stopped to look at the dresser, and told us where it's from and what it's made of, surely knows that it comes fully assembled. In hindsight, of course a dresser you pay 2K for comes fully assembled, this isn't a 200$ dresser from Ikea. Roger also proceeded to tell us that the service also included a "take-away" or "reposition" option for our old dresser. He told us that they would put "take away" on the bill to reserve room on the truck, but that the team would be willing to do a reposition instead if we didn't want the "take-away". This makes sense, logically the team has to move it whether they are taking away or not. However, when we asked for a reposition they looked at the old dresser, and decided they didn't want to move it. They told us they were unwilling to move it and that we could get our money back on the service instead if we didn't want "take-away" (there does not seem to be a way for us to get the money back for this service, as of now). This also seemed extremely lazy for a service that costs 170$ normally. So, in summary bad sales experience and bad delivery experience. Final note to the company at large, what kind of company doesn't have free delivery when you pay 2K for an item? It's 2025. Don't go here if you don't like pushy sales tactics that include being lied to, and don't pay for the "white glove" service, as the delivery people are unwilling to put in the work and frankly unfriendly...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreOctober 13, 2020 - We bought $10,000 worth of furniture and appliances. Douglas Hogg told us 6-8 weeks for delivery (usual), but due to COVID-19 we should expect 8-10 weeks instead.
December 14, 2021 - It has been nearly 9 weeks since our purchase and we have not received anything. We called to get an update and/or schedule delivery. They informed us that our 8-10 weeks is revised to 19 weeks. COVID sucks, but the sales rep should not have promised us 8-10 weeks, let alone speak about 6-8 as a possibility. It would also have been nice for them to update us instead of having to chase them.

January 5, 2021 - Adding picture. Purchased in mid-October. Delivery expected before Christmas. It's January 5, 2021. Nothing received so far. No updates from them.

January 6, 2021 - Dufresne have read my review and are now following-up today. Updated delivery to around January 19.

January 12, 2021 - Emailed them to get an update and hopefully schedule delivery. No response received.
January 17, 2021 - It has been nearly two weeks since their last email. Followed-up this morning to see if they still anticipate delivery around January 19. No response yet.
EDIT 4:
January 26, 2021 - Received partial delivery of appliances at the 15-week mark. When we purchased the refrigerator, the only thing we had with us were dimensions. Douglas assured us the one he suggested would fit within the dimensions. It doesn't.
If you shop at Dufresne, measure your hole and ignore the sales guy. Bring a measuring tape and measure the unit in the store. Will update when Dufresne suggests a solution.
No news on the couch.

January 28, 2021 - I have been in contact with the Store Manager and Dufresne have provided me with an appropriate solution for the refrigerator. We are happy to have our appliances in the kitchen. No further issues with anything we have received yet. The couch is scheduled for delivery...
