Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Saanich

Never did I have a weirder (read: worse AND more confusing) experience than with my Papa John's order from this place. I live

One of the worst pizza's ever. Wasted $37.00. Medium pepperoni with black olives and mushrooms and cheddar cheese. Gross sweet tomato sauce, skimped on the bland pepperoni, rubbery crust, pathetic cheddar cheese. The jalapeno poppers were wrapped in leathery dough. Three dips were with this, 2 were garlic sauce... of which one was like soft butter no garlic to be found the other was just oil. At least it had a slight garlic smell. The ranch dip was passable. Not thick by any means.

I hope the driver was on his first shift ever....because he didn't read the delivery instructions and after receiving the cash for the food proceeded to start the credit card machine for payment. I thought it might just have be a confirmation thing...but the first thing the machine wanted to know was how much I was going to tip. For this meal ...they owe me. Web site said they would send a confirmation email.....it didn't. Web site also didn't credit my papa points. I will never order from this place again.

Update: Scott Patten Director of Operations Papa Johns BC Got back to my review of the lousy food. But no further communications after I told him the store didn't do anything ...no communications ..nothing. Scott didn't even offer a discounted pizza. My information and opinion are...

Never ordered from here but first time. Very inconvenient service and bad communication. Called 15 mins before closing because site says they stop taking Deliveries by 11 pm. Person on the phone was very helpful with my order and had no issue helping me. After 5 minutes finally took my order and said it was set. After waiting half an hour we get a call just informing us they are closing early and our order will be canceled. This is not very professional customer service, if it was too late to order customer should be informed before placing order over the phone rather than having their time wasted and being informed 30 minutes after that order is being canceled, this is inconvenient and frustrating for hungry customers. I have not had this issues with other pizza places and will be choosing else where for future...
