Tried to go see a movie today with tickets purchased at Costco, but didn’t actually get to watch it. We looked up showtimes online to find one that was NOT Laser Ultra or anything that would incur an up charge, but when we arrived early to the theater to select our seats, it said we owed $13. We asked a manager and he said it’s because it’s an ultra laser showing. We showed him that the website gave no indication of this, and also pointed out that even the display at the theater gave no indication of this, but he could not have cared less. At one point, he just wandered off to start doing other things he said he’d talk to someone about this. Eventually, we got his attention again and he continued to argue that we were in the wrong, even though there is no way we could have known that this show was in ultra laser. He then informs us that we needed to go through the checkout process online, prior to arriving at the theater, just to be able to see that it’s ultra laser, even though we had no intention of purchasing tickets online. We pointed out that plenty of other movies have the laser ultra logo clearly visible right on the main page of the website without needing to ā€˜pretend’ to purchase tickets, but again were told we were wrong. Eventually, he said he would get the general manager for us, so we waited and waited, but she never came. By this point, we had missed the start of the movie, as we’d been waiting over 30 minutes at this point, and there is nowhere to sit down unless you’re in one of the theaters, which is not great when you’re disabled. So we finally decided to leave which is when the guy we had spoken to a couple times gave us a voucher for a free popcorn, I guess as a consolation? The worst part is, we can’t even return the tickets to Costco because we had to scratch off the code on the back of the voucher before we could even see that there was going to be a $13 up charge at the theater! It was such an incredibly frustrating experience that I can honestly say I will not be going back to this theater. The new Cineplex theater on 8th st is cheaper, with the exact same amazing seats, and much, much better customer service.

This is a very good theatre to come to, to watch movies. General admission is a good price and not overly expensive (I think galaxy is more expensive). The seats are very comfy, and the armrests in the middle of a love seat come up so you can be closer to the person you're sitting with. There is also not a bad seat in the house just due to the reclining seats. The concession is also not as expensive as other theatres, which is nice. The prices still aren't cheap, but for a movie theatre, they aren't bad. I've found the staff here to be all friendly and haven't had any negative experiences with them (and I've been here a few times within a couple of months). If I needed to complain about anything, it would be cleanliness. The actual room where you watch your movie is clean, but the bathrooms and main area of the building could used to be swept or have garbage taken out a little more often. It's not disgusting though. I ultimately recommend this theatre and won't go to any others in the city now. It's fantastic!

Went to a movie at Landmark cinemas opening weekend. First impression was good. I purchased movie tickets for a movie in the morning and received the morning discount of $8.50 per ticket šŸ‘. Free parking too which is a bonus. The concession has the typical popcorn, soda and junk food to choose from. The concession staff was friendly. Upon entering the theatre room my first thought was it was small! It's not like the other cinemas in town. The seats were leather and comfy. I would compare the seat space to the AVX - roomier than normal but nothing compared to Galaxy VIP seats. ALL the seats have a reclining feature by a press of a button! The rows between the seats have enough room to walk up while fully reclined as well. This theatre has special features for seniors on specific days. The movie volume is reduced and the room is not as dark. I think this is a fantastic option. Overall, I give this theatre 4 stars!

This place needs to take a serious look at how they handle customers. We had taken our daughter to the new Trolls movie at the end of November. I booked the tickets online a week prior as we like to sit higher up in the theatre so I booked tickets for row F seats 11-13. We get to the theatre that day and stood on line for about 20 mins just to get a few snacks so by the time we were done the previews had already started. The guy scanning our tickets tells us to go to theatre 2 which should have been our first clues day would be a total disaster as my email showed theatre 6. We get into theatre 2 and immediately I notice something is totally off because row F in theatre 6 is supposed to be the row behind the row you walk in on. It was a totally different row and the seats only go up to 10. I immediately go out to talk to the guy thinking maybe he sent us to the wrong theatre. He then tells me now that theatre 6 is closed right now so they had to move us to theatre 2 (which is a smaller theatre). We then proceed to go back into the theatre and my husband discovers there is still a row F but it’s the very back row now but someone else is sitting in our seats. We tell the lady she is in our seats but she refused to leave them because her row which was G was not in this theatre. I’m in no mood to start bickering so we are standing there confused on where to sit. My husband at this point is mad and goes back out to talk to this guy and tells him he needs to come into the theatre and deal with this situation. The guy refuses to do anything about it, I then ask the guy to tell us what is available for seats in the theatre so we can find somewhere to sit. He tells me he is not able to do that. The lady in our seats comes out at this point and shows me on the app that the only spot where 3 seats show available are at the very front of the theatre. Two guys who work at the theatre walk into the theatre come back out and just tell us to sit wherever. I question what if more people are still coming to their seats. We are not going to just keep sitting in random spots to have people come in and tell us we are in their spots. They seriously told us to tell those people to find other seats! Seriously! My husband was pissed and told them we would be wanting a refund after the show. We ended up sitting right in the front and they were the worst seats ever. On top of all of us they started playing the wrong movie as well lol. We asked to speak to a manager after the show. He comes over and talks to us and apologizes and gives us some free popcorn coupons, takes all our info down and says it takes 14 days (business days I assume) for a refund to take place. It’s now past the 14 business days and still no refund so it’s pretty obvious he had no intentions of ever refunding us! This place is a joke and needs to take a hard look at how you handle customers. Your business runs on the fact that majority of your customers book online so it is up to YOU as a business to find seats when you are moving people to a...

We had an enjoyable experience. My fiancee and me had our own theater reclinable love seat, (with a nice break between others on either side), along with cup holders on each side. There's a cup holder in the middle, which we were glad we didn't have to use, so we could simply recline back, hold hands and watch the movie.

I'm sick of paying $28 for 2 drinks, a large popcorn and some twizzlers at another theater that starts with a G, just to be treated like cattle watching a movie. We usually wait these days and watch movies at home on our 4k with 9.1 dolby atmos sound system and have our own kettle popcorn maker.

Glad we checked this new theater out, might actually go out to more new movies in the theater. They got it right with the seating. These are Palliser made love seat theater recliners, not cheap by any stretch as I myself paid $2000 for a leather reclining rocking chair for the baby room. You will not be disappointed with your seats!!

BTW, for you movie popcorn and drink lovers, you csn put your OWN amount of butter oil topping on as well as refill your own drinks!!!! Yes! That is correct. You actually get to put your own amount of butter oil own your popcorn! How crazy is that??

The "G" cinema is way outta hand with thier prices both on tickets and concessions, absolutely nuts. Never going there again. G cinema IMAX is NOT a true IMAX either, all they did was replace seats and some speakers/audio equipment/projectors being 2 2k projectors. If you want TRUE IMAX, visit Regina Science Center or Edmonton. The screen size at the G is exactly the same as any other theater there, only upgraded resolution and sound. Pales in comparison to a TRUE IMAX where you have a 52' high screen by 72' feet wide along with half the seats. The experience is indescribable. The G doesn't offer even close to that. Was a huge disappointment.

This cinema has it going. As long as prices remain resonable, as they are now, we'll go out 2 times a month to see a movie for date night vs once...
