Swift Innovations Inc. — Local services in South Industrial District

I gave one star because there’s no option for zero. This was probably the worst customer service experience I have ever had in my life. I have been using an organic based skincare cream for the last year that became unavailable for purchase, so I hired swift to re-create the product. After a phone conversation I was lead to believe they were experts, with a “team” of chemists and this would be no problem for them.

After paying them nearly $3000 for the service I heard nothing. After about 6 weeks I reached out to them and they responded ‘waiting for ingredients’ which I found odd since the ingredients were very common ones such as Aloe.

Regardless, no updates were provided unless I reached out to them, which I found to be extremely unprofessional. When they finally communicated the first sample was ready, I was shocked at how disgusting the product was.

It looked nothing like the rich and thick oil based sample I provided. It looked like clear jello with clumps in it, and smelled like something you wouldn’t even buy from the dollar store. Certainly not something you’d expect from a “team of chemists” it looked more like a grade 4 science project gone wrong.

We never had a meeting with any “chemists” infact the meetings were confusing and aimless and took place in their messy work area. They never provided an SOP with any samples, and when they did it (I had to fight for one - after an argument) it was inaccurate and untruthful.

After about 4 months of massively failed product attempts, I obviously got frustrated. And I respectfully said that my confidence at this point was very low, I was done and asked for some of my money back. REASONABLE!

Well this literally turned into a screaming match. He speaks over you, becomes extremely defensive, yells, and doesn’t listen to his clients. He actually stormed out of the ‘meeting’.

I ended up with no product, wasted five months and $3000. This really hurts a small business.

I had to end up buying all the products myself and spent countless days learning how to do it myself. And after 14 attempts I was able to re-create an almost exact version the product I wanted. After understanding how easy it was it became clear that their attempts were simply lazy.

Looking back I should have paid a deposit, and the rest with a product in hand and I would have left it.

During our last conversation, I fully disclosed I would be leaving a review. He looked at me, shaped his hand like a gun, put it to his head and “YOU THINK YOU CAN PUT A GUN TO MY HEAD WITH A THREAT????? GO AHEAD”

Wild.
