WILL NOT BE COMING BACK AND WILL DISCOURAGE MY COLLEAGUES TO AVOID AS WELL
MANAGEMENT - need to speed things up and better training for your staff. You managed to get 2 stars on this review because the plate of food was one of the best plates of food I have ever had and at a great price (special #1 steak with prawn skewer - fabulous).
This was my first visit here as I am from out of town, here for business. I will be encouraging my colleagues to avoid this establishment for a number of reasons:
Having worked in the restaurant industry myself, I understand things can be hectic, but take care of your customers and have the courtesy of training your staff to update patrons.
It's shame how I feel you either have to go for fast food or a super expensive, high-end meal, to get what you are expecting, these days.

Worst service in town. Very disappointed, and the manager has zero clue how to compensate for bad service.
We ordered pick-up and the woman taking our order unfortunately couldn’t understand a thing we said— it took about 5 tries for her to get the order correct, and at one point she hung up during the ordering process without telling us how long it would be, our total, or even confirming the order.
When we arrived at the restaurant, we asked to speak to a manager to explain our experience with the employee who took our order and just let them know she may need some help/further training for the future. The manager seemed to nervously brush off our comments, hardly uttering so much as an apology or a thank you for our patience, and walked to the back to get our order. We waited about 5 minutes, and she comes back with our food..... surprise surprise, regardless of our quadruple checking on the phone, an item was forgotten. We waited for 10-15 more minutes, and then asked if we would at least not be paying for the item that was forgotten, and the manager said she needed to “go ask”..... who the manager needs to ask, we weren’t sure. So we waited another 5 minutes, and she returned with a smile on her face saying “sorry nooo... you cannot have a discount because you haven’t had to wait very long.....” except our food had become cold and soggy as we waited.

I always get steak Neptune when we hit our favorite steak place near our home. I often worry that other, new places won’t live up to our local steak joint a half hour away… I’m glad I tried this!
I was a little worried when the place was empty when we arrived. -40 would do that. I also not switched plans and chose another place down the road… but we decided to take the chance. I’m sure glad we did.
Other than the heating issue they were having in the restaurant (that forced us to wear out jackets during supper)… the whole experience was GREAT! And honestly, the extreme cold temps are something the wouldn’t be able to control either, loads of people are having issues with hvac right now.
The steak was flavoured beautifully and done to perfection as medium rare. The sauce was tasty. The gravy too! The asparagus was still crisp (the signe of a well cooked asparagus)… no one likes soggy asparagus. The soup was potato bacon and it got the spot perfectly too!
Our waitress was on the ball and friendly.
