I’ve been coming to Ramakers Imports for more than 10 years. It’s a must stop when ever I go into the Niagara region or fly out from Buffalo. They’re the only ones I know of that consistently stock a fresh supply of imported Red Band wine gums. I get the 1KG bag. There was a time when my colleagues and I had a pact at the office (I’ve since left) to put in a standing order to pick up a 1kg bag for each member of the group when any one was passing by. We were in the GTA. Has a great selection of cold cuts, cheeses, biscuits, soup mixes etc all imported from Holland. They have some Indonesian spices and mixes too, but these I buy locally at Asian super markets. Sometimes I buy the salted licorice. (It’s an acquired taste thing and not for everyone.) Love Dutch stores! Love their selections of traditional Dutch treats and knick knacks. Only thing I don't like is they don't cut meats and cheeses freshly as ordered. You are forced to purchase presliced items. Don't like not knowing how long items are sitting on the shelf. I have purchased cheese, and meats before here, and it was dried out and went straight to the trash. UPDATE JULY 1st, 2023- not long after placing original review, we spoke with someone in the store and asked if they would cut it fresh- one lady said No, but we spoke to someone else (I believe the owner) and they were more then happy to do so.
