If I could rate them 0 I would. I went there last week after a friend of mine was talking so highly of them and telling all the neighbours how great the employees were and the financing was good and they work with you no matter if you have good credit or bad so after hearing about them for soo long I decided to go in. I talk to someone in the warehouse side the gentleman was so nice I decided ok Iāll try the financial agreements they have after seeing a really nice coach, the gentleman helped me with the fill out part and then told me to pick up the phone to talk to someone. No one answered so he took me to the other side to deal with financing desk I got on phone a lady name Kim I talk to was so rude I couldnāt believe it. My credit isnāt bad. I have cars under my credit and credit cards that are always paid never missed a payment so if sheās looking into my credit she can see that but anyways she told me they canāt give me the financing because of a old 10 to 15 year old Telus bill and because of the amount that was built up after so long sheās not giving me the financing but if I go pay it I can come back and try again. Her tone and the way she said it was so rude and I was around other customers so I didnāt want to say much and be even more embarrassed so I just left and said never again. The way that lady talk to me like I was beneath her was uncalled for. I was going to buy my bed frame and dresser and just do the financing for the coaches. Not like Iām broke smh. The lady at the desk didnāt know what to say other then Iām sorry. I donāt know if I would ever go back after being talk down on and feeling embarrassed like that in front of people.
Update I outright bought a dress for my son just after Christmas. It was suppose to be delivered on the 2nd of January it never came so I called to see what was going on to find out it was never put up as a delivery so then I had to wait two more days for the dresser to be delivered. then for the dresser to come and itās chipped in the back then they brought me another one but I was told all the drawers would have fabric in them. Turns out the first and second dresser didnāt have it. Only two drawers come with fabric. so they sent me another dresser but when they came I told them to take both because I was at my breaking point but they didnāt take the old chipped up dresser and just left with the new one so I had to go back into the store to figure out why only two drawers when I was told all drawers come with the fabric they told us who ever told us that was wrong so I said ok because at this point I was getting so frustrated with the back and forth. Now we finally get the new dresser and this one is chipped to. Save your money and just go somewhere else. PSSS THEY DONT DO REFUNDS!!!!! And they wonāt tell you that till itās already paid for and you have a problem then they...

Terry, who worked in Sales at the time of purchase, was incredibly helpful and straightforward. Anyone else I have spoken to in the past 6 months has been a waste of time. For context; I placed multiple orders in December in order to furnish my new home. I was given ETA's on order delivery times, a few items were on back order and wouldn't be arriving until end of January/early February, which I was fine with. Within the last 6 months, Terry relocated into the warehouse and apparently that derailed one of my orders. I have been told "end of month" every month since January in regards to one of my orders, and as of this week I've been told "sometime in July". Along the way, they forgot to include a rug in one of my deliveries and I had to go pick it up myself.
Customer support is practically non-existent. When I went in to pick up the rug, I spoke with customer support to address the missing remaining items (mid March). I was told since Terry had relocated, there was no sales rep associated with my order and that it would be taken care of that day. I was also told my remaining furniture would arrive end of April. I called this week to be told ONCE AGAIN that no one was associated with my order and that it would be "taken care of right away". When I told them this was a broken record, they apologized in the same monotone attitude I've dealt with for 6 months now.
The furniture I have received has all been great, except for the coffee table which came slightly damaged (again, apology with no offer of compensation). The delivery teams were fantastic and ensured furniture would fit, we even had to shimmy a couch through my basement window! They were a pleasure to deal with.
I highly recommend buying elsewhere, I purchased from nearby competitors for other furniture around the same time and had zero issues with any of them. Anytime I've asked about compensation policies regarding my issues I've been told all they can do is issue a refund and cancel the order. The issue is I have a dining table but am still waiting for all the chairs that match the table, so I'm just stuck at their leisure until they decide to tell me another random ETA and apologize. Only reason this is 2 stars instead of 1 is because of Terry and the delivery teams....

I am extremely disappointed with this service that Tepperman's offers and would strongly recommend that you save your money and assemble your new furniture yourself! We paid extra for this service expecting professional and careful work, but instead, not only did the delivery team damage the furniture during the assembly but they also put it together incorrectly, causing additional damage to the bed and leaving parts misaligned and unstable.
Shortly after the assembly team left we noticed our son's bed was damaged and incorrectly set up. (Images 1 & 2) We contacted customer care and they reimbursed the set-up fee. We lived with it for a while until I had the time to fix the error myself this past weekend. (Image #3) But it wasn't until we lifted the mattress and box spring that we fully realized the rush and haphazard fashion in which it was put together. The bolts holding the side rails were loose causing the head and footboards to wiggle. (Image #4) Also, the support slats underneath the box spring were installed crooked, as in not square and snug against the side rails, which resulted in the screws being misaligned and barely grabbing enough wood to hold them in place. (Images 5 & 6)
For the additional fee Tepperman's charged, I expected far better quality and care, instead of leaving us with poorly assembled and damaged furniture and the frustration of having to fix these issues on our own.
UPDATE: Spoke to the customer care team at the phone number provided by the respondent below. Tepperman's refused to replace the damaged bed or even just the damaged parts. They did refund the set-up fee as indicated above, but would not make this right by replacing the damage caused by their installation team and not taking ownership of this damaged product that we now have to live with.
