Aurora Importing & Distributing on Clayson Rd is a step into a small Italian supermarket. Mostly dry goods with a small freezer/refrigerator section. The store staff are the nicest people. They not only welcome you with a smile but an offer of a freshly made espresso. Also, they are ready to answer any questions you may have. Items on offer range from olive oil, various vinegars, pasta, tomatoes in jars/cans be it diced, whole, sauced, sun dried, a plethora of Italian cookies, sweets, candies, panettone, chocolate, beautifully crafted cutting boards…etc… Also, sausages along with a small selection of cured meats and anchovies. I've been trying to watch my blood sugar , l 'm on the borderline, so there's one thing l noticed that everything l have anything with aurora bread crumbs my blood sugar spikes. Well l decided to check the ingredients and low and behold it not only contains sugar, but fructose, glucose , dextrose, and of all things honey. What the hell do you need all these sugars when your making breadcrumbs? And why are there so many different types of flour which also increases blood sugar . All my mother used to make bread crumbs is grated bread, and parsley not a list the length of my are , needless to say l will not be buying Aurora brand...

Don't buy from Aurora Importing. They changed my order after confirming it, without notice, reducing it to one bottle of olive oil and charged full price shipping. I've called and emailed Stefano in online orders and left messages but without call backs and they've ignored my emails. Poor customer support and communication especially with online ordering. I would have cancelled my order if they had notified me rather than pay for shipping for a bottle of oil that I can...
