Great store, great selection, amazing vibe and curation. But the customer service was 0/10. I was trying perfumes that were behind the glass and the shopping assistant was giving me samples one by one closing the glass door every time. Ok
after a long time trying different options i liked one, when assistant told me that she has to stay at the door to open the door for people (why? people can’t open the door themselves?) and rushed me off. Ok
with perfumes you need at least 30 minutes to understand how they develop. After some time i settled on one option and asked to spray it on my skin — the same shopping assistant said ‘no’. I was stunned, like how do you sell perfumes and don’t allow people to try it on their skin? You’re not selling $1k+ perfumery

. Completely ruined my mood I just left, the sent was gorgeous and I just went ahead and ordered it online from the brand’s website. The store is definitely worth checking because it’s very well curated, but I would interact only with the owner as she seemed much nicer than that one hire.

This shop has the cutest Christmas ornaments! From sparkly desserts to birds with feathers, they have a huge range of themed ornaments to choose from. The store is one level, but you do need to go up two steps to get inside, so it’s not accessible for wheelchairs. The store is part of the original structure and doesn’t have much space to walk between the displays. Although much of the Distillery is vey pet friendly, I wouldn’t recommend bringing pets into this store because the displays have breakable delicate pieces. The shop has great cookbooks, antiques and jewelry. It’s definitely worth stopping in to see what you may find for a gift or something for yourself.

The best store ever
at least in the Distillery. In all the years I have been going I never not go in
. My soul vibrates. It isn’t just filled with amazing vintage stuff
and it is!! But Paula has an eye for curating
the whole place is inspiring. I always leave with an idea not just a bag of stuff. They have the best card collection, things you don’t find anywhere else. It’s rare and unique, trust me. Well worth waiting in line if it’s Christmas. Today three of us found gifts
and things we just had to have. Treat yourself
I always leave with a smile on my face.

AWFUL EXPERIENCE

The staff is very rude, so rude that it becomes annoying visiting the shop. From the outside it seems a nice little shops, so I went in and I had an awful experience. I was just looking around and I picked up a book, I didn't know wether to buy it or not, it was a bit pricey, so I just started reading few sentences. I was with my little sister, so in the meantime I was going around the shop with her. Sometimes I looked at things she pointed out. Everything in the avarage. But the staff didn't act normal with me, they made me feel like a robber or something like that. When me and my sister went in the staff kept an eye on us and kind of started following us, I think that they thought that we wanted to steal something just cause we were 2 young girls alone (I'm 21 and my sister is 3 years younger than me) and this happens often. Then I received a call, very short one (my mum just wanted to check that everything was alright) so I stayed in the shop, and I still had the book in my hand. When the call finished a young blonde rude girl that worked in the shop came to me saying that I couldn't do photos in there. I said okay cause I wasn't doing anything like that so she looked at me in a bad way and I was a bit confused. As I said I was with my sister, so in the meantime I was going around the shop with her. Sometimes I looked at things she pointed out while I still had the book in my hand. After not much time, something like 5 or 10 minuthes the same girl came to me and asked whether I wanted or not to buy the book, but not in a kind way, in an aggressive rude way, and then she made a gesture with her hand as to make me understand that I had to give her the book. Like I wanted to read the whole book there (maybe in 3 or 4 hours yeah) or I wanted to steal it. I was speechless. I gave it to her saying that I had no willing to buy that book (and I should have add that I'd never spend any money in that place) so we just went out with a bitter feeling.

(Sorry for my poor english, I was a foreigner...
