Every neighbourhood needs a corner store like this one. Somewhere you can walk to for picking up something you need last minute or just go get by until your next big grocery run. The gentleman who owns it, Dan, is always kind, patient, and incredibly receptive to feedback. I regularly buy eggs, yogurt, seaweed, bell peppers, noodles, and cucumbers here. I have on occasion purchased popsicles, hot sauce, minced garlic, creamed honey, frozen rice cakes (tteokbokki), and pop (ginger ale) as well. I'm always super impressed to see some of the selection that they carry. For example yesterday I found a local Ontario creamed honey which is actually really tough to find unless I commute much farther to a farmers market on specific days at specific locations. But to have access to this a couple of meters from my home/work 7 days a week is such an underrated blessing.
