The dump of all dumps is this location. Restaurants is a dump (give melted icecream). Often out of stuff. When I see ppl writing "great experience" I find it mind bottling. This place is by far the worst Costco to go to. People step over each other like cockroaches (the filth of the middle class goes here, no manners and often rude), most employees are miserable compared to other locations, and lately the produce is border line unacceptable. Recently the green grapes were far from fresh, lettuce in the hard plastic containers were brownish at the bottom, big water melon was powdery. My wife goes to this one because it is very close to our place but when she has time she hits the one at the Overlea location which is a much better experience. Try calling their phone number, we tried 3 different months through the year and no one ever answered. Last but no least, they fill up every path with products which makes it very hard to navigate through the store and it is very frustrating as the paths gets narrower in many areas and creates so much congestions in the store. It is by far the worst Costco. They reduced the number of cashiers and it is a total mess, they push ppl to use the automated machines. They used to have 2 ppl at the cash but now it is one and the second (helper) has to help multiple cashiers. Once you are done cashing out, then you have to go line up a second line (sometimes wait for a while) if you purchase a gift card or many of the electronics. All and all this location is a real dump. To be fair, few quasi-good things at Costco in general: return policy (now that I am talking about it I just remembered once my wife went for a return and they told her if you do not have the actual paper receipt you only have 3 months, even though they can find your purchase on the computer)! Gas is around 8 cents cheaper for regular, but the line ups in general are so huge that you will burn any savings by waiting in line (sometimes 30 minutes). Another thing that annoys me is when they open the store and people start storming in it, the staff starts cleaning the floor?! What the hell is wrong with you guys? Get this done BEFORE the opening of the store. What a dump. They move things around all the time (probably to make you stay longer in the store so you spend more money, not sure) products often sell out so you show up at the store to get few things you like and they don't have it or they no longer carry it. It is somewhat inconsistent. Pay a membership? for what? been member for many, many years but in our case it is no longer worth it, specially with the prices skyrocketing we stopped buying many items at Costco, for instance the ground beef in packages of 3 which is now around $32 from $24 and the precooked bacon which was 19.99 and now is around $26. Getting the stuff on special at groceries stores is probably a better deal. All the stuff mentioned is my opinion and experience. Someone else might have a completely...

Read moreWorst customer service by 2 staff Caren and Jennifer in membership counter.
After long waiting time at the return queue, I got served by Caren who’s a Asian female with glasses. We were a group of three all living together. When we were trying to return a product, she asked me why there are 3 potato skins missing. I answered because we took it out for tasting and it was too awful so we dumped it. She kept asking where those missing 3 potato skins are. I know she might not understand what I meant so I asked for her supervisor or manager. Another Asian female Jennifer yelled at me saying I was rude. Manager Jeffrey came and explained. Jeffrey was nice and deserved a compliment. However, Costco might need to train their low level staff in a better way. Customers deserve good service and those people (Caren and Jennifer) might be nice when they begged for a job during the interview with Costco HR. But once they got hired, they are completely different people. Not sure if more trainings could help to improve their customer service. If they are not good at serving customers, just let them go.
Second bad experience in Costco!
Dear Costco Customer Service,
I am writing to file a complaint about a recent experience I had at your store. I was at the store on Feb 24, 2023, where I encountered an unpleasant incident that left me feeling disappointed and frustrated.
I was served by an employee, named “Ian”, who was a short-haired, fat Asian with glasses. Despite there being no other customers waiting, he put me on a long wait and eventually served me with a very bad attitude. His behavior was unprofessional and completely unacceptable.
As a loyal customer of Costco, I expect to receive excellent customer service every time I visit the store. Unfortunately, this experience was quite the opposite. I was made to feel unwelcome and treated in a rude manner. I believe that your employees should have a positive attitude and should always aim to serve customers with respect and dignity.
I hope that you take this complaint seriously and take the necessary actions to ensure that your customers receive the highest level of service at all times. Thank you for your attention to...
