If you’re craving the comforting warmth of Indian cuisine paired with rich, traditional sweets, this is a must-visit place. Located in the heart of Scarbrough, this cozy gem brings together the best of North Indian Veg Food and Sweetness from all flavours with an impressive selection of homemade mithai. From the moment you step in, the aroma of spices and ghee welcomes you like an old friend. The menu is a colorful mix — from classic chaat options like pani puri and dahi bhalla, to flavorful mains like paneer butter masala, dal makhani, and vegetable biryani. Each dish arrives hot, fresh, and beautifully presented. Their Samosa Chaat is just the right amount of crisp on the edges — a perfect scoop for the hunger buddies. Lot to talk about the Customer Service they have. 5 star hotels feels like dummy here. Their ambiance is to look out for. They got great menu items.

Very bad experience for takeout and this is third time. Firstly was with samosas they added old one in the bottom of the bag because the potatoes filling taste sour and the fresh samosa on top. Secondly, with Kachori , probably fried 2 or 3rd times which was hard and oily and cover with 2 fresh one on top. Today’s, I bought 3 motichoor laddos along with sandesh. Sandesh is delicious, no complaints. See in the image the fresh ladoo has stain the box, and the old ladoo is dry. Also 2 looks fresh. The food is amazing the only part I don’t like at all is that they trick the customer by mixing old and new food. People if you are doing take out order, please check the freshness before leaving the place.

Ordered Chana Bhatura, Halwa Puri and Sweet Paan. Will never order from here again. Not sure which part of India these are from but definitely not from the parts I ate from. Both Bhatura and Puri are just heavy and thick, hardly edible. They are very doughy. We had to trash away everything. With whatever little we ate, feeling stomach pain already. I never thought someone can spoil Puri. Even sweet paan is not good. The only thing consistent about the food we ordered is, all the food is consistently bad. Never had sweets from here but given our experience with the food, we may never buy anything from here. I wish the restaurant best of luck and hopefully improve their food quality.

This indian sweet shop has been around along time, it used to be an excellent place when it was operated by the original owners. They were bought a few years ago and with it came lots of changes...some good, some not so good, as it is with anything. My family has been a regular here for years but slowly we have stopped frequenting this place. Earlier this year I purchased some mini rasgullas and when I went home they had a smell to it....I called them and they said I can bring it and they will refund/replace....I don’t live close by so I couldn’t go..thats on me. Today we went had a Thali and the only thing good was the poori. We go to A1 frequently as well and so we were expecting similar quality food, we were extremely disappointed with the thali at Annapurna. The pooris were excellent but the curries/rice was not good.

The quality of their sweets is not what it used to be with the previous owners anymore. There are lots of options now....Rajdhani has also come to the East end...I will not recommend this plave anymore. It used to be a good place but...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Annapurna’s Mithai, and it was an experience that I won’t soon forget. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm, genuine hospitality that immediately set the tone. The ambiance is both elegant and inviting, with tasteful decor that captures the rich cultural heritage of India. The soft lighting and soothing music create a perfect atmosphere. But the real star of the evening was the food. Each dish was a masterpiece, bursting with vibrant flavors and expertly balanced spices, we started with the Samosas and they were incredible (best I’ve ever had). What truly sets Annapurna’s Mithai apart is the attention to detail and the passion for authentic Indian cuisine that is evident in every dish. The service was impeccable, with staff who were knowledgeable, attentive, and eager to ensure that our experience was perfect from start to finish. I don’t usually write reviews but this establishment was extraordinary and couldn’t resist expressing...

On April 8th yesterday I ordered takeout for Rotis, Vada pav and samosas and dine in for pani puri. First of all the pani puri were not whole and very hard. I complained and they say this is how they always serve the puri. Samosas were fine. The biggest thing is the Vada pav of which 3 bread were stale and spoilt and above all my son ate it. He is not feeling well. Me and my daughter are having stomach spasms eating half of it. It was 7 pm I picked up the order and reached home at 7.20 pm. My son ate first and we started eating a little late around 8pm for us to realise it. I called the store no one picks up. I am worried for my children. Strange no regular hygiene check was done. How to thay manage this. It was question of emergency. I am still worried 😕 . I hope the store does thorough check of their food items or it may cost someone's life someday. It may be one of case but not to compromise for...
