This indian sweet shop has been around along time, it used to be an excellent place when it was operated by the original owners. They were bought a few years ago and with it came lots of changes...some good, some not so good, as it is with anything. My family has been a regular here for years but slowly we have stopped frequenting this place. Earlier this year I purchased some mini rasgullas and when I went home they had a smell to it....I called them and they said I can bring it and they will refund/replace....I don’t live close by so I couldn’t go..thats on me. Today we went had a Thali and the only thing good was the poori. We go to A1 frequently as well and so we were expecting similar quality food, we were extremely disappointed with the thali at Annapurna. The pooris were excellent but the curries/rice was not good.
The quality of their sweets is not what it used to be with the previous owners anymore. There are lots of options now....Rajdhani has also come to the East end...I will not recommend this plave anymore. It used to be a good place but...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of visiting Annapurna’s Mithai, and it was an experience that I won’t soon forget. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm, genuine hospitality that immediately set the tone. The ambiance is both elegant and inviting, with tasteful decor that captures the rich cultural heritage of India. The soft lighting and soothing music create a perfect atmosphere. But the real star of the evening was the food. Each dish was a masterpiece, bursting with vibrant flavors and expertly balanced spices, we started with the Samosas and they were incredible (best I’ve ever had). What truly sets Annapurna’s Mithai apart is the attention to detail and the passion for authentic Indian cuisine that is evident in every dish. The service was impeccable, with staff who were knowledgeable, attentive, and eager to ensure that our experience was perfect from start to finish. I don’t usually write reviews but this establishment was extraordinary and couldn’t resist expressing...
Read moreOn April 8th yesterday I ordered takeout for Rotis, Vada pav and samosas and dine in for pani puri. First of all the pani puri were not whole and very hard. I complained and they say this is how they always serve the puri. Samosas were fine. The biggest thing is the Vada pav of which 3 bread were stale and spoilt and above all my son ate it. He is not feeling well. Me and my daughter are having stomach spasms eating half of it. It was 7 pm I picked up the order and reached home at 7.20 pm. My son ate first and we started eating a little late around 8pm for us to realise it. I called the store no one picks up. I am worried for my children. Strange no regular hygiene check was done. How to thay manage this. It was question of emergency. I am still worried 😕 . I hope the store does thorough check of their food items or it may cost someone's life someday. It may be one of case but not to compromise for...
