Big disappointment with the counter staff here. Ordered a birthday cake for a pickup on Saturday at noon, and the person followed up on the phone and was very professional. That is why 2 stars. All down hill from there. Showed up at 2:30 for the cake. There was at least 20 people lined up outside the order window. Went to the door and politely mentioned to the 40 year old gentleman serving people (hopefully not the owner) I was there to PU a cake. His response was to 'get in the lineup". I clarified, by saying that 'you want me to get in the long lineup to PU a cake that was preordered (and I needed to have for 3pm when the party started) and he said yes. I told him to keep the cake and went to the DQ at Pharmacy and St Clair. Got the cake in 10 minutes. Will never go to this (Danforth Rd) DQ again. Obviously having staffing issues and did not appreciate the 'woke' attitude of the guy behind the counter. Don't waste your time ordering a cake here ..... Pre order...

Went to this branch once and will probably never go again. The staff was very ignorant (young lady and young man). They both made eye contact with us through the closed doorway as we tried to enter the store but they continued to ignore us and do whatever they are doing. Instead of guiding us to the window, they continued to ignore us even though there was over an hour left in closing. We knocked on the door to get their attention and they continued to ignore us. No notice was placed on the door directing us to the alternative window. We got directed by another customer to the side window where the staff finally served us. We bought a log cake but the staff didnt ask us if we wanted anything written on it or any decorations added to it. Simply gave the cake, cashed out and closed the window and walked away. Hello, I have come to Dairy Queen for a lunch-treat after volunteering. However, when I sat down for a meal at the patio, I have noticed the wasps were everywhere no matter which area I sat. I could've sat near the other table thingy but with the threat of COVID19, it is understandable why certain areas are restricted and this is not your fault. I did not like the wasps too as they circled around my food so I thought, I might as well leave and take my food with me. Aside from that, the service was well and the food was good.
