Like someone mentioned below, the Warden Woods dog park is sort of like a giant box of kitty litter. One full of gravel with the occasional clump of droppings. And while it's spacious and fenced off, there isn't a separate area for smaller dogs. Something to keep note of since this park is often used by commercial dog walkers. One big positive is the large parking area. It's also adjacent to Warden Woods and although it isn't leash less, it's a great walk regardless.

It's a nice trail to walk through. The dog park is nice and big for dogs that like to run. I don't care much for the gravol. I wish it would be wood chips like the other parks I have been too. Every time I have went It's empty. It would be good for people who are training their dogs. But not as fun for those who are trying to socialize their dogs.

Warden Woods is a fantastic place to go they have a off leash Park and the warden Woods walk path for least and friendly dogs that will come back to you when you say hey come here great place to sit back in certain spots there's a fire pit across the bridge bring a few beers a couple of joints and have a good time you'll absolutely love it

Update - Dec 2019: A number of the issues mentioned below have been addressed. The North fence is still too low IMO but the other infrastructure issues have been resolved. Have not had issues with other owners in many months.

Note: Despite Google Maps insistence on the address on Firvalley Ct. (I have tried several time to correct it), the correct address is 125 Pharmacy Road in Scarborough. This is confirmed on the City of Toronto website. Parking is also available at the Pharmacy entrance.

There may be a walking path from Firvalley but you will have to find a place to cross the subway tracks and the only one I am aware of is in the opposite direction from the dog park itself.

Original review: Really poorly maintained. The gates at each entrance need to be fixed and the water fountain leaks so badly that the centre of the area is always mud.

There is a fenced off area inside the off-leash area that has huge gaping holes in it and the north end of the space where the fence is less than 3 feet high. My dog can jump it easily.

As well, there are a numbers of owners we have encountered in the evening who do not manages their dogs well, leading to less aggressive dogs being attacked.

Overall, I'd recommend...

Yes, it is a big gravel place but if you just need something quick to run off, some steam was relatively clean only a few poops and my dogs could relieve themselves get a drink of water and chase the ball for a bit. There was only one other person here not bad, but certainly not a place you use every day to exercise your dogs properly go for a walk on the trails first with a leash and then come back there to throw the ball around and practice so I’m training . The water fountain would be nice if they had a bag dispenser as we ran out of our But person that was there was kind enough to...

The trail isn't too long to complete so if you are looking for a challenge, this wouldn't be it. But they also have some easier off trail routes that could be fun. Most of the trail is nicely shaded. Not the widest of trails so if it is busy it can be a challenge to social distance. The one down side was the smell coming from the river. It was the worse at the bridge. Whether I had a mask on or off, you can taste it in your mouth. Not sure what it is like during the fall,...
