After a few weeks of having the milestone permanent bracelet I noticed an issue with the quality as there was lint forming all around the chain. I am a university student who wears hoodies pretty consistently so I can understand the reason for this, but I understandably wasn’t very happy and asked if there was anything the owner, Lucinda, could do. I asked kindly in an email and again in person. I was hoping to replace it with a different chain that was the same price as the milestone, because had I known this would happen I would’ve picked a thicker chain. To my disappointment she said she could do nothing for me since she’s “never seen this happen before”, which I find incredibly hard to believe as my friend and I got matching bracelets and she was experiencing the same issue. How could we coincidently be the only two people to have ever had this problem with this bracelet? Since I paid a pretty penny and these bracelets are permanent I am sad to hear I will have to be picking lint off this bracelet for years and years to come. It also doesn’t take just a few seconds to fix, I have to sit down weekly with a pair of nail clippers and clip off every ball of lint. Because of this experience I would not recommend this permanent jewelry shop to anybody, nor would anybody want to go after taking a look at my lint covered bracelet, as it is bad advertising for your business. I’m honestly just incredibly disheartened by this whole situation, as I feel as though my issues with the bracelet were extremely valid and were not rectified in...

Not real gold as advertised. Don’t know they own products. Unwilling to give refund. Will belittle you and try and make themselves the victim of not knowing their own product. I recommended solutions and even asked for a small extension added when they said a clasp to allow it to be long enough for me to do up by myself and they said no and dismissed my serval other solutions. I came to them with more solutions, avoiding refunds as a last resort solution and even asked for only partial refunds only if the bracelet gets worse, this dismissed me, and they suggested only one. They will likely say it’s real gold but real gold will not tarnish in a pool, I have personal experience from years of swimming. They were also belittling in our email correspondence, so much so that I had to tell them I was no longer comfortable with interacting with them. They did not apologize nor take responsibility for their actions.

Read moreI would highly recommend Kind Karma, especially their permanent jewelry service! We had a great experience there, the whole process (selecting the chain, customized engraving, welding the bracelet on) for the permanent jewelry took around 1 hour for two people. We booked an appointment so we were the only ones at the studio and the whole experience was very enjoyable. The studio is also super cute inside!
The employee who helped us was so kind and she really took her time to make sure we were satisfied with everything before moving onto the next step. The company ethos is really amazing so it’s a great local business to support!
They do charms and custom engraving on charms for an additional cost. We got the custom engraving which made our bracelets and experience extra special! This is a great date idea for an anniversary or Valentine’s Day!
They have plenty of chain options, the heart chain is really cute! But you could also bring in your own chain and they can turn it into “permanent jewelry” too. Their chains are all high-quality and very sturdy!
Amazing service, quality and...
