The store is fairly new, so I had high hopes, but the ice cream I got was disappointing. I understand that businesses need to save costs to stay afloat, but the single scoop was on the smaller side, and there weren't many toppings. I'm fully aware that there's usually a gap between expectations vs. reality when you look at in-store photos, but what was advertised as an explosion of cookies/cookie dough was REALLY misleading. The guy working there also barely mixed the ice cream on the slab; at other stores, they take the time to load the toppings and really mix them together, but this was not the case here. I could understand if it was busy and the goal was to get to other customers quickly, but the store was completely empty. A little effort or more enthusiastic service would have gone a long way. Not worth $8 for a poorly made ice cream concoction. You're better off going to McDonald's in the same plaza or hitting up another ice cream chain like Baskin Robbins or Dairy Queen.

A plethora of flavoured ice cream choices available here. At the moment, the store provided unlimited toppings but they recommend 3. As for seating, just one table is available at the moment, probably a grab and enjoy on the way kind of style they expect . The service and hospitality was good. The price is a bit expensive but I would think it be best to take advantage of their daily deals.

We came here to celebrate Valentine's day and had the double chocolate ice cream. It was good, I won't say I found anything special, currently they have unlimited toppings and you can try their various offerings so that was great. Pricing was decent and the customer service was good. Please like my review if you find it helpful.

In 2011-12, I worked in the plaza on Eglington & Brentcliffe rd, where there was a Tim Horton's that had a Cold Stone Creamery instore and I was there atleast once a week for i/cream or a shake...and then I moved downtown & for years though there are a number of ice cream places in the GTA, Cold Stone would remain my all time favorite until today! We were in the area & my wife brought us to Home Hardware (I'll post about that amazing place later). Before getting into Parkway mall, I noticed the Marble Slab Creamery & reminded my family that once we'd done shopping, I had to try the ice cream. Almost over an hour later, we walked into the store & were met by an extremely pleasant salesman, and a very welcoming guy. My son ordered the Strawberry shortcake sundae in a waffle bowl and me, after going through the entire range of options settled for a Large Milkshake made up of salted caramel icecream, double dark chocolate icecream, pecans, strawberries & reese chocolate bits (I could've added more toppings, but controlled the urge :-) to over indulge). After whipping it up in a mixer along with a little milk, the creation was simply delicious. Importantly, it wasn't icy which was different from other places serving shakes & thankfully didn't give me a brain freeze either. The gentleman then told me that they make the icecream onsite. No wonder it tasted so good & creamy!

I've found my new 'Go To' Creamery & next time it will the other way around- Marble Slab Creamery first,...

I was beyond excited when my boyfriend said he spotted a Marble Slab nearby.

Upon entering you can tell it’s a new location as everything is super clean, bright, well stocked and organized. The employee behind the counter was very friendly and asked us if it was our first time at Marble Slab. Since we’re veterans at this point, we obviously didn’t need a breakdown but the gesture was much appreciated.

It was a hot day so this was the perfect treat. This may be a dangerous idea for me now that I know there’s a location a 10 mins drive away, hah! My only regret was not getting a bigger size. I definitely recommend the mango ice cream mixed in with pineapple and strawberry. 🤤😋

For the negative review below mine, their prices are standard with any other ice cream joint with above average quality ice cream in the city. While a basic tub of ice cream from your local grocery store is nice, you're paying for the service, quality and experience as a whole. Let's not forget you're also supporting a small franchise that is individually owned and operated (from my understanding of the company, anyway).

I would definitely come back to this location! Hands down the friendliest customer service I’ve experienced at any of the locations I've visited in the city.

I was in the area on my birthday and decided to try Marble Slab at 85 Ellesmere for the first time. I ordered the classic sundae.

Service was courteous but not as polished as I would have liked. Server took ice cream a scoop at a time and placed the scoops in the container a few paces behind him. Also, there appeared to be "old" scoops of ice cream on top of new in the display where he took the vanilla ice cream to make the sundae. Ice cream wasn't gritty but had fairly large noticeable ice crystals. Then at the end he hands it to me while I'm juggling my credit card. Leave it on the counter but room there is limited. The presentation of the overall sundae was meh. Looked like I did it myself. I think it's outrageous that the machine asks for an optional tip with such steep prices.

If I go to a creamery, I'm looking for polished execution and presentation, and I want an item that showcases and utilizes the marble slab. The staff could have figured out it was probably my first time there because I asked if their ice cream has modified milk ingredients to which he said it's all natural ingredients. I don't think this important selling feature is mentioned anywhere...
