We recently hosted our daughter's Peppa Pig-themed birthday party at This World's Ours Centre, and we couldn't have been happier with the experience. Carlye, the event coordinator, was simply amazing from start to finish. She invited us to a meeting before the party to discuss the theme and brainstorm ideas, and she was full of great suggestions for activities and games that would keep the kids entertained and engaged. She recommended a treasure hunt to find Peppa with a happy birthday message, which the kids loved. She also suggested doing an indoor muddy puddle dance, which was a huge hit with everyone. We were so impressed by her attention to detail and her enthusiasm for making the party truly special. In fact, Carlye even offered to bring in her own Peppa toys to use at the party, since she and her family are also big fans of the show. It was clear that she truly cared about making the party a success.
On the day of the party, we were impressed by how quickly the staff at This World's Ours Centre helped us set up the Peppa Pig-themed decorations and table settings that we had brought with us. The party room was cozy and spacious, and it provided the perfect vibe for our Peppa-theme on our daughter's special day. The gym/dance room with mirrors was a great space for the muddy puddle dance, and the kids had a blast dancing around and jumping in the 'puddles.' The sensory room was also a nice touch, offering a calming and engaging space for some of the younger guests.
One of the highlights of the party was the music program session led by music therapist Winson. Although we were initially informed that he would not be available for our party time, Carlye went above and beyond to follow up with him and managed to secure his services after all. Winson was fantastic with the kids, teaching them how to play music together using tambourines and shakers, and leading them in a fun and lively singalong and dance session. It was a truly interactive experience that kept the kids entertained and energized throughout the party.
Overall, we would highly recommend This World's Ours Centre for any kind of event or celebration. The staff are friendly, helpful and professional, and the space is perfect for hosting a range of activities and games. Carlye's attention to detail and willingness to accommodate our requests made the planning process a breeze, and the end result was a wonderful party that our daughter and her friends will remember for a long time to come. Thank you, This World's...
Read moreAs one of the many (hopefully) young individuals with mental inhibited somewhat disorders. All the staff are super helpful, patient, and considerate, the environment is clean and just as inclusive as the participants.
Some of the only downside is due to space limitations. It does feel cramped like I can accidentally hit my arm to one of my friends at a gym, slip with my socks on the smooth floor, and that's basically it. All i can come up in my head.
More added benefits is versetility of equipment and imagination; mainly this topic involves phyaical and mental activity, training basic ligament maneuvering, and exploration in hobbies or hobby discovery. They literally follow the phrase: "you gotta make do with what you have".
Forgetting to mention the calming down room in case things do get a bit too overwhelming. It is usually seen as the house within the house.
I do think this place needs more support since it's local, its small, prices are reasonable for sessions, and the staff are small, and...
Read moreThis World’s Ours Centre is a warm, well designed and welcoming place! We celebrated our sons 4th birthday at their place and I can’t recommend it enough. We chose the lego theme and booked for 3h. An instructor entertained the kids with lego themed activities, story times and sensitive play. They did a lego themed art and craft project and my son had the most amazing and special day!
There are many rooms to discover with mindfully collected toys as well as a dark sensitive room to calm down but also discover a balance board and trampoline or a “lava walk”.
Coffee, tea and water was provided and except for the goody bags, food ordering and the cake — I didn’t need to organize anything else and I relaxed while watching the kids having a blast. It’s really nice to have the time to talk to the other parents and get to have some social time as well —instead of entertaining the kids myself!
Thank you so much for making my sons birthday so special! We...
