Though I didn't personally receive a treatment from Josh, his reputation within the salon and amongst its patrons is truly remarkable. As a top-of-the-class graduate from Blanche Macdonald, he is praised for his diverse skillset, including long haircuts, extensions, balayage, perms, wig styling, and the best head massages. His enthusiasm for all things hair aligns perfectly with the Zinc spirit. 🚀

Had the worst haircut, I asked for layers instead got a blunt cut ( took them 2hrs to cut it not including the wash time) . I am so so sad about it, I will share picture also of before after and what I wanted in a while. Layered hair cut and blunts are complete different styles. I had very long hair when I went in , So getting a layered look could not have been the problem. But now with shoulder length hair (Blunt cut) I can’t Even ask for correction. Other team member did try to do something about it but it was too late. Team is polite with years of experience but seams like they do not know the technique Of cutting.

P.S. Also, when a picture is shown , she did nottake a long look and think about it before cutting. It was like sit in the chair and it just began. I thought she understood what I asked for but after the cut I think that could be one of the reason-not thinking before cutting. My hair...

I loved getting my hair done here. It was my very first time visiting Zinc and I booked in for another appointment before I even left the salon

The lovely Danialle worked on my hair and she did a fantastic job. I did pop in for a free colour consultation a few days prior to booking in (this is optional, but I have very thick hair I had a lot of previous colour buildup that I wanted the stylist to see my hair first) which was super easy to schedule and I was in and out in no time.

Danialle worked with me and my budget, and was super transparent about cost. I asked for her recommendations and advice about my hair and she was so helpful and kind. We did a cut, colour and style. It's the first time in years I have had my hair as short, and I just love it!

The salon was super clean and welcoming, they have loads of lovely products as well - which I'll have to pick up some next time!
