Showcase — Local services in Vaughan

I normally shop at a different location, but i was looking for a specific product so I called the store to see if I can pre-order and pick up at store. The person on the phone introduced herself as the manager and REFUSED to tell me her first name, only gave me her employee 4digit ID #.... :-s, i was inquiring if the item available at all for pre-order. to which i kept getting the answer "you have to come in to do it in person".. (still not answering If it is available for preorder). Not a good experience, not friendly, and not in any way personable... AND this is supposed to be a "manager", when I asked if I should ask for her by her four digit number when i come into the store, she told me "it is my right to not give out my first name"....... lol With that said, I will not step foot in this location, because worker number 4819 was not someone I would want to give...

I had a really disappointing and uncomfortable experience at the Showcase store in Promenade Mall. The manager there is extremely rude and unprofessional — the store is always messy, disorganized, and has a very negative energy overall. It honestly feels like the manager sets this kind of aggressive tone that spreads through the whole place.

What made things even worse was what happened when I brought my résumé there. The manager didn’t even want to take it and just said “no” right away. But right after me, another girl — who seemed to be Persian or Iranian — brought her résumé, and the manager immediately said “yes” and accepted it. It really felt unfair and possibly discriminatory. I left feeling hurt and disrespected, both as a customer and as a person.

Definitely not a place I’d ever want to shop at again. I hope to see a new manager...
