I had been waiting for oh-so-long for this Jollibee location to open as they initially promised an opening date in May or June of 2019. Turns out, December 2019 was when they finally launched the place! Though not nearly as busy as when the other two locations opened up, this place is still buzzing with people. Their seating area appears to be quite small, but you can always choose to get take out and eat it in the food court - so I think this is a rather minor issue.
Today, I ordered the spaghetti which comes with a soda ($5.99 plus tax, but I opted for the pineapple juice) as well as combo C3 which is 3-pc chicken, 1 side (I ordered corn), and a soda (which I opted for another pineapple juice) for $10.49 plus tax. I know the votes are sometimes split for Jollibee, but personally, what sets them apart from other joints for me is their spicy chicken since the seasoning is very different and definitely brings the heat! This makes the pineapple juice taste extra refreshing. I also appreciate that chicken always comes with gravy, because I absolutely love dunking my chicken in it! I've tried Filipino spaghetti before (homemade from a Filipino friend) and today was my first time trying Jollibee's version. Honestly, I can't remember what the authentic version tasted like so I cannot give it a fair comparison but either way, it was tasty and I would order it again.
The staff/service was average - I cannot say that the service impressed me but I also don't have anything to complain about. I believe that for them, efficiency is a priority, more so than friendly service.
Update: My best friend told me I had to try the Jollibee's SPICY CHICKENWICH because her experience there was superior to that of the Popeyes' famous chicken sandwich. So it had to be done! First off, the size of this is impressive just looking at it! Upon first bite, I could already tell that the hand-breaded chicken breast fillet was crispy and juicy. I love that you can taste their spices, which have a unique flavor from other spicy chicken places, but was not as heavily seasoned compared to their chicken drums and thighs. However, to further heat things up, they also complemented this with a spread of spicy sriracha mayo, yum! To freshen it up, I got the deluxe version which was topped with sliced tomato and crisp lettuce. All of this was sandwiched between fresh jalapenos on a toasted, soft brioche bun.

Read moreYES! This place is the best fried chicken spot. Now what makes it such an amazing place to munch goes far beyond their top tier food. But lets talk about it. Their spicy fried chickens is actually the best. I used to call this place over rated but the first time I tried the spicy variations I couldn't believe my mouth. Firstly it seems like they inject the chicken with a hotsauce because I've seen it down to the bone. It's not just the flour they put on it that's spicy. HUGE plus. The inside is always so moist and juicy, and the outside it so crispy and good. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. The gravy is just made perfect, not too salty but salty enough so that it brings out that extra flavour when you dip the chicken or fries into it. The french fries are special. They are very similar to McDonald's fries, but they fix all the issues. I find McDonalds fries sometimes aren't crispy, and might be slightly undercooked. Not here though, these are always crispy and always cooked to perfection. I highly recommend their pineapple drink, it's so refreshing and it's so good. Like it's just good.
The atmosphere reminds me of the early 2010s and a little before that where there's kids enjoying themselves, playing and it's always full with good kind people. Not groups of loud kids blasting music pretending they are gangster. No, you have families and well behaved people here. I think that's mostly due to their slightly pricier food but you can really tell the increase in quality. I'd much rather spend $16 for the food than their competition at $12 if it means I am getting much much better quality and more flavourful food, and not have to want to drive into a wall at 80kmph after hearing 3 14 year olds saying nyeah eh to their fellow "crodies."

Read moreI had some issues with Doordash App (who's customer service resolved and provide an excellent work), so I contacted this Jollibee branch and was directed to the supervisor (sorry I forgot his name). I explained to him the situation and asked if i could pick the order up at a later time because we have no vehicle and this order was to be delivered to a different address. Also I live far from the branch. He completely understood the situation and informed me that they will be making new batches of the order right before pick up time. We were able to pick up the order after they closed and I was welcomed with respect and a smile. I believed it was the supervisor who opened the door for me, who was thanking me as I enter and leave the restaurant. I was in a rush so I wasn't able to thank them properly for the overwhelming service that I received; therefore, I am taking my time to write this review.
Thank you Jollibee crew, we appreciate your hard work and understanding, especially on this Pandemic. Food taste great which was expected; I will always be ordering from Jollibee. Spicy chicken thighs are my favorite. As well as the Ube pies, hopefully they come back soon.
