Cerveceria Chungungo — Local services in Valparaíso

My eyes are more open to diving in Chile - cool water temperature (the Humboldt current), pretty good visibility, interesting underwater topography and marine life. Chungungo dive centre has a fill station which has capability for a range of breathing gas mixtures, and a selection of dive equipment suitable for great experiences in the water.

Located at Muelle Baron (Valparaiso) you only need to walk down the ramp to board the dive boat. No messing about - you are on the water and heading to your dive site. Dive sites are available and suitable for recreational (sport and technical) diving - a great training ground - especially if you are interested in Wreck diving - this is your playground. Breathtaking Views, but Disappointing Service Experience This place has an incredible location with breathtaking views of Valparaíso bay. However, the service was disappointing. We had to request table cleaning ourselves, as there was no table service available. We had to place our own orders and retrieve them from the cash register (after waiting in line every time). To make matters worse, they even charged tips in this self-service setup. As for the food, it wasn't great. The beer was good though. Buena cerveza artesanal, opciones acotada de comida, papas fritas y hamburguesas. No lleguen muy justos del cierre que aunque te atiendan y digan que te puedes quedar, un mesero nos sacó las cosas sin preguntar, para que nos fuéramos luego. Buena vista del atardecer.

Fue el 9 de este mes a las 20:20 llegamos y nos fuimos a las 21:15 aprox. Consulté a qué hora cerraban me dijeron a las 21:00, pregunté si aún podían atender por la cocina y también si cerraban al tiro tipo comer rápido, me dijeron que no había problema y que después igual nos podíamos quedar más rato. Luego pasó algo fome igual, compré dos porciones de papas y una hamburguesa, y una de las papas me las pasaron con la tabla con aderezos y la otra no, y llevándolas ya casi llegando a la mesa, el bol metálico sin tabla se me cayó, las llevé al mesón de la caja explicando, y me dijeron que mal, va a llevar otra?, compré otra, no digo que no fue mi culpa, pero igual pensé que sí solicitaban propina es porque se acercaban a dejar las cosas o me podían ayudar, no sé, solo vi al mesero tipo 21:15 por ahí cuando nos sacó las cosas sin preguntar y me quedaba cerveza, eso fue lo más triste.

No es un mal lugar, he ido un par de veces, primera vez a esa hora, y probablemente vuelva, pero fue una situación...
