The Red Brick House Market is on Kam Sheung Road in Kam Tin in the New Territories West. What you will find is a red Victorian style building. Previously a candle factory, it has been converted into a covered, handcraft and kitsch market that takes place on weekends from 10am to 8pm (Sat & Sun).
There are around 50 stalls dealing in a soaps, candles, clothing, accessories, vintage items and memorabilia, toys, collectables, Christmas ornaments, impressive and quirky handcrafts and the likes. There are also several snack and drink style eateries with a few tables setup within the market. Overall, it is a fun market with some neat things to see, definitely worth checking out for half an hour if you are in the area when the market is running and have some time to kill.
Note: Other interesting markets around Kam Tin include the Kam Sheung Road Flea Market (weekends) just outside the MTR Station, The Richfield, an open-air shopping plaza made up of old shipping containers just a few minutes northeast of the Station as well as very impressive Sum Ngai Brass Ware warehouse just a couple minutes walk from the Red Brick...

We went on a mini trip to this Italian Restaurant in Kam Sheung Road. I arrived around 10:15 and there was already a long queue😂 We were lucky enough to go in for the first round otherwise it’s gonna be a 90mins wait. They server coffee, pizza, open sandwich and some snacks here.
The shop is quite customer-centric. The spot at the first pic is for photo only while service was kind and friendly the whole time. Food took awhile to come yet you can always take pictures while waiting.

Read moreAn interesting place filled with tiny eateries and shops selling different kinds of things, from handcrafted items, antique, to electronic stuff. Pros: tables and chairs for you to enjoy your snack, free parking, public toilet which doesn't smell too bad. Cons: tables are not enough, car park entrance is extremely narrow and it's challenging for novice driver (good thing I drive a small VW Touran), the choice of food is rather limited (don't expect to have your dinner here), there is no aircon in this tiny mall. Anyway, if you happen to have been driving around Kam Tin area and want to take a break before moving on to your next destination, this is a good spot for a...
