The flow of this railway stations is odd. If you are arriving, make sure you take west exits if you are going to the metro Line 1 and city center. For those that are leaving, you can buy tickets in a separate building to the right while facing the main railway station building. It is across the street and you will see TICKETS sign. Also, a lot of buses leaving constantly for almost all directions, so use maps to check which bus can take you to a desired location from there. Still Suzhou/nanjing routes are still regular routes available. Read moreQuite easy to move around except to find the ticket counter, which is not clearly indicated and is across the street. Getting to the train is easy keeping in mind the rush of people. Train was good and fairly quiet. Was traveling with a VIP ticket which was not much cheaper than class 2 to class 1. Would recommend the upgrade. My headrest cover was not super clean but the seat would recline and be quite comfortable....
