What could have been. This formerly 27 hole layout has now gone back to 18 holes with the C course giving way to the mkr train station. (This does now give the course a driving range). I played with 3 members from the white tees starting on course B and finishing on course A the course played pretty easy with wide fairways, short mown rough and relatively short fairway bunker carries. There isn’t a lot of elevation change but the course provides variety through water carries, dog legs and fairway swales. Tee boxes were immaculate, the same cannot be said of the greens. For nearly $400Aud before the compulsory caddy tip it was disappointing to see greens pockmarked with pitch marks and bare patches. The bunkers are soft sand and will plug very easily. I would also suggest for any travelling golfers to go to the effort of bringing your own clubs. Despite being assured I could get stiff shafts I ended up with .75” short regular flex irons that did make the round a little more challenging. Hopefully the greens are in better...

We were properly playing to time, and flight after us was no where near following us. Yet the caddies were constantly telling us to hurry.
