Chef Frank and Tabitha were simply amazing. Our group of 14 turned into a group of 12, then a group of 9 due to travel delays, ALL on the day we had reserved, and Belly Fedbetter didn't blink an eye. The service from the company was impeccable, and went far beyond what we had anticipated. Communication was superb...timely, patient, and professional. We had several diners with dietary issues, and a couple of them were included in the group that was delayed, but the VERY short notice changes didn't faze the Belly Fedbetter team ( I would have thrown my hands up and probably cancelled our group if I had been the chef!) and our meal was everything that had been promised and more. Chef Frank was funny, engaging and fit into our group as if he had been a part of it. The food that he prepared with obvious skill and pride was fabulous!! He explained the local ingredients and dishes as he made them and basically held an impromptu cooking class. We had requested a specific menu, but left the choice of dessert up to him, and he made the most incredible tres leches..it was the only time the entire room was silent as we all wallowed in the delicious flavor. Simply outstanding. He took care of the prep, the meal, and the cleanup all while talking and entertaining us. If you have the chance, and are fortunate enough to be in town during a time when he isn't booked, do yourself a favor and hire Belly Bedbetter. It will be the best meal you have...

No one compares to this incredibly talented culinary artist. The sweetest private chef— both food AND personality wise. Your taste buds will tingle with uniquely DELICIOUS dishes full of local flavors/famous Costa Rican ingredients— all farm to table. Chef Frank sources all of his foods via local connections he’s curated over years around the area… Our family of 8 were smiling ear-to-ear during the entire experience. So many laughs, first ever tastes of certain flavors, beautiful presentation and even curated one of our non-fish eating family members with a delicious baked portion of chicken. From start to the best finish ever… his (pastry chef) wife’s tres leches cake………… Oh. My. Lord. The best any of us (huge foodies) have ever had. I cannot say enough. When we booked, he gave us several options for menus and inquired about dietary restrictions. The options were incredible. On the day of our booking, we faced travel delays. Even though we were behind, Chef Frank was timely and accommodating with our revised plans. Our host allowed him entry to get to work, and walked in to a beautiful feast! The smell, presentation, and taste were all fantastic! He was mindful of our dietary restrictions and even offered choices included with the menu. The best part— and the only thing that tops the food— was his service! Chef Frank was warm, caring, and shared so much about the area with us.
