Fellini Pizzeria — Restaurant in Tamarindo

Being from NY and visiting Italy one time for a week I am clearly an expert on pizza. 🤣 When I say this is good pizza that is an understatement. This pizza is great. I had pizza at a bunch of other good rated pizza spots in Tamarindo but this one is a slice above the rest. The margherita pizza that we ordered reminded me of pizza back in NY. We ordered a large and it was a nice easy lunch for 2 adults and 2 kids under 10. We weren't full but we were very happy with the size of pizza for the price and for what we expected. The owner is clearly a master in his cuisine and I'm looking forward to trying the focaccia bread and the calzone next time. They have a nice seating area with a mini playground and trampoline for the kids and even tho it's in a courtyard that is mostly covered, it's really nice when it rains and feels like it's outdoors. I will be recommending them...

Northeast U.S. style pizza! I have been visiting Tamarindo often and have tried practically every pizzaria in the area. A local recommend Fellini's and told me the pizza is what I am more used to. I tried it the very next day and was relieved to finally find a pizza shop I can count on that is consistent! I have been in town two months and I order atleast once a week from there. Manuel is extremely friendly and personable. When I show up he greets me by my first name.. very impressive! I text Manuel in advance and my pizza is always ready. They have a third party delivery service that I have used, as well. Hopefully I can talk him into opening on Sunday so I can enjoy football and...
