I recently dined at this modest-looking restaurant in Pula that turned out to be a delightful surprise. While the exterior may not catch your eye, the culinary experience inside is truly outstanding.

The star of the show at this hidden gem is undoubtedly the seafood. The freshness and quality of the seafood dishes left me amazed. From perfectly grilled fish to succulent shellfish, every bite was a celebration of the sea's flavors. Their commitment to sourcing fresh ingredients shines through in every dish.

We - a family if 4 with two teenagers - dined here yesterday. The dishes were primarily with fish or meat and pretty basic with chips (or the like) on the side - but very tasty!! And with local variations of some of the dishes. Our waiter was extremely kind and there were room for a game in between dishes, and even moving table as it got dark and most dining guests had disappeared. Family restaurant with excellent traditional food, with very fair prices and great customer service. We are at the end of our holiday and after having been in several restaurants, from very cheap to very expensive, we have chosen Rustic as our best dining experience in Istria. Not a pretentious place but still nicely decorated, with a decent menu! We were a group of 4 people and ordered only mains, desserts and accompanying drinks. Every dish was wonderful. Total bill: 85€. We will definitely return!
