A nice mall near the train station. We went to Memphis Bar and Grill and to see a film at the Monciné. Parking was super easy, although we were there on a Sunday evening.
All the directory map screens were off :-| This multiLevel partially covered mall was pretty cosy as the weekend was howling near 100km! Down in the mall we didn't feel it.
We know Memphis from the one in Le Mans. The massive place was empty and they wanted to sit us in a tiny 2 seat booth...they said no to allowing us a larger booth, but we insisted.
Cinema was just a few steps from the cafe in the upper level. The cinema room we were in was a sauna which was not nice for a 3 hr film...probably 27 degrees Celsius, ugh!
When we left after the film, most of the down escalators were turned off.
Memphis had offered to validate our parking which was free, even after the 3hr film...it was Sunday...
Read moreNice shopping centre - but disappointed by the toilets. I needed to take my 4 year old daughter to the loo. Unfortunately, the loos were difficult to find and when we eventually found them, we had to queue up to buy a ticket (for 50 cents) from the machine. I bought one, which I thought I could use in the baby changing room (since there was no other obvious place I could take a child), but there was no loo! ... So had to go back and buy another ticket to accompany my daughter in the adult loos... Only to find the ticket I had used for the baby changing room was no longer valid, so had to queue for a third time and another 50 cents! Eventually I worked it out by which point my daughter was bursting. Obviously, I had to take her into gents, but cubicles didn't seem very child friendly. Clearly this place has not been designed with...
Read moreGood all over. Wheelchair accessible. There are toilet facilities, not certain that they are accessible to wheelchair users. A big shop for books, hobby supplies of all kinds, gaming equipment, greeting cards. Chocolate lovers will find 2 yummy shops, children will no doubt love the big sweet shop. Top floor for bowling, cinema and a variety of restaurants. Tired with shopping you can sit near the pond and admire the fish, sparrows are just waiting for crumbs to drop, but please don’t feed the fish, watching fish not your thing, there a couple of places to sit and have coffee. Busy pleasant place to be with parking on...
