La Guitoune — Local services in Bordeaux

This is for the market itself - which I can’t find on Google maps Marché des Capucins Visit early in the morning to see a great selection of fruits and vegetables, seafood, local breads, cheeses and have fresh coffee while walking around (the cafe will let you walk with their mug) I bought the local strawberries -expensive but amazing. And a canalle to take on my train ride to Paris. The French thyme was so fragrant! Had to buy some. People are friendly but take your French phrasebook with you.

Next time I visit I will have to try the fish soup...

Great market! Has everything that you would need to make a delicious meal. There are even bistros and cafes inside. From the outside it looks ugly, but inside is bustling with venders selling herbs, fish, cheese, meats, fruits, veggies, bread, pastries, olives, nuts, etc. It is open every day...

Absolutely the best thing we got to do on the trip! I wish my city had something like this instead of Walmart. Just look at the colors and so many different things available! It was a bit shocking to be in the market and see vendors smoking AND handing you...
