I’ve already left a review, where I tried to rate quality of product as well as quality service. However, in this review I only want to address the rudeness of the owner of given business. I am glad that you remember the situation where my friend, remind you - a customer of yours needed to use the bathroom and you aggressively spoke to her in French and obstructed her way. Your customers are not expected to speak French, they are tourist, you ARE however expected to speak at least basic English, as the majority of your customers are foreign tourists. Yes, there are public toilets, however, we payed your business 20€+ and if it is an urgent situation, I think it is totally acceptable to go back to a place where you left so much money for mediocre quality foods and horrible service. My friend even wanted to buy something from you again as a thank you gesture after she was done using bathroom (as I said, very urgent situation), but instead you with your own actions earned yourself a bad review, which will certainly be read by thousands of people who will later avoid your business as a plague. And I don’t need any lectures from you as regards to how I need to address the situation - yes, I wasn’t standing in the room, but I heard your interaction from outside. We went in for a coffee and pastry, which were admittedly very good. At first this café made a pleasant impression. After about an hour of walking my friend wanted to use the bathroom, so we want back in for that. However, on her way out my friend was stopped by a stuff member, who was physically obstructing her way. She was very rudely speaking to her in French, whereas my friend tried to explain that we just visited and payed for our order, thus, should be able to use the bathroom freely. Unfortunately the lady didn’t speak a word English, but persisted being rude, so much that friend just gave her some coins as a “fee” for using the bathroom. Very unpleasant experience. From the rude woman constantly screaming at customers to close the door and the lack of multilingual signage, this place was a total disappointment. The coffee and hot chocolate were lukewarm at best, the tarte of the day should have come with a steak knife. This town is super charming and likely very reliant on tourism revenue. This dump is not doing the town any favors. We waited patiently to order and were directed to a table, by the time we paid and had our order someone else had taken our table.
