The only reason why you could choose this school for your actually education is because you were not aware beforehand about how it’s operating.
In my life I had an opportunity to experience studying in two universities. Before coming to Excelia, I was studying in my home country. Let me tell you, I never imagined how badly this establishment will be organized. Excelia does not bother to care about the proper planning of classes: one day you can be there from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. having classes non stop, and the other day you have no classes at all. The schedule is changing constantly, so it is impossible to plan any working activity after hours. Respectively, in case you are planning to work and study at the same time, this is the worst place to choose.
Apart from the planning, students are not being supported at all. When it comes to changing at least something in the schedule due to your unavailability, the school will never do that for you. Forget adapting for students (who are paying high tuition fees by the way), the students must adapt to the insane schedule and activities. In my perspective, it’s the school that must get out of their comfort zone to adapt for students, since it is not a gouvernemental establishment, not the other way around. We are out of age when students were the lowest class of the society, so universities must adapt to encompass the new world realities. Excelia does not.
Moreover, if you are an English speaker, this fact will bother you for the rest of your studies. The level of English is low, there are not enough English -speaking teachers to cover the schedule. Respectively, sometimes you will face people teaching you subjects they are not directly specialized in.
Student support services are not functioning properly. What this means is that you wait to get a reply to your email easily for a week. Eventually, you get an automated response that is not answering your question. You must explain the same subject or problem you are facing over and over again for people to begin understating you. However, even after this never ending explanation circle, you will likely not get any assistance. It took the same time for my home university to assist me, solve the problem, arrange an explanatory meeting, prepare and sign all the documents, etc. meanwhile Excelia was replying for ONE email.
Outrageous.
Finally, this is not the place where you are treated as an adult. You have no freedom in actions: if there is an activity planner, you must attend it. In case you would like to be flexible and accreditate your previous experience/find another solution, it will be automatically rejected. The only justification of this rejection is that they are too lazy to act and adapt to your needs. I remind, this is not a public school, but a private one, where students are paying for the education. Consequently, this education must be treated as a service provided not as a necessity offered.
Lastly, the education quality actually sucks. In a business school, which supposed to focus on hands-on real experience all you do is write reports. No real field experience with actual companies is offered. In the end of your degree the only thing you will be able to do is to write a book. Even that, only to some extend.
DO NOT choose this establishment if you would like to 1) get some knowledge in the field of business 2) you are an international student 3) you consider yourself an adaptable adult and you want the same professional attitude towards yourself. 4) you have self respect, since you can use this money in a much better way.
I hope this review will be helpful for potential students considering starting or continuing their educational path here. This should really be your last option. Very big...
Read moreI applied for the September 2025 intake and paid the €50 application fee. However, I was later informed that applications for September 2025 were already closed, and the next available intake is September 2026. The application portal was still showing September 2025 at the time of my submission—otherwise, I would not have applied.
Since the intake I applied for is closed, I requested a refund of my application fee but have not yet received a clear response. This has been a disappointing experience. For an institution of this reputation, I expected clearer communication and better handling of a...
