We went during the off season (end of february) and it was amazing! There were multiple tours each day and our group was about 8 people. First you watch two documentary films and after you go into the caves and discover different aspects of the cheese production. The best part is of course the tasting in the end where you can try 4 different Roquefort cheeses! I can’t believe this was free! It was an amazing experience and I would definitely recommend

You start in a tiny low ceiling movie room that shows you how they made cheese from waaay back! It was helpful. You walk down a lot of stairs so if you have any physical challenges you may want to see if they have other accessible ways. It's very cold, but informative and interesting. I don't speak French, but they actually had the presentation written in English for those who didn't understand, which was very nice of them. 😊
