We did the wine tour (300+ Euros) in the antique convertible.
It was a warm day, but the driver wouldn't take the convertible top down because it might rain - which it barely sprinkled for 1 minute. So the car was stifling hot. Doesn't have AC and the backseat windows don't roll down.
We drove 30 minutes to a nice winery, with a strange focus on painted wine barrels. Very little discussion about actual wine. We tasted a few wines then were hurried out to make sure we can get to the other two (spoiler - didnt happen).
Then, we drove for a hour to a winery in the city that was closed. So we walked around the grounds. We didnt even see a vine, bottle, or glass. Just a garden. After, we drove 30 more minutes back to be done.
To make it even worse, I had paid in advance to have a bottle of champagne during the trip. The driver waited until we were done to hand it to me. So Im stuck carrying around a bottle of champagne to dinner.
In summary, over 300 Euros to ride around in a hot car, taste a total of 5 wines.
I couldn't think of a worse experience or waste of money. My suggestion, take all that money and buy several bottles of wine to share with friends...
