A beautiful neo-gothic church in Nancy just behind Nancy railway station. It's two towers are visible from the main entrance square of Nancy station. It's small but gorgeous inside with some old and new stained-glass windows. The organ buffet is quite remarkable and on a grandstand above the main porch entrance. Super!, Kościół Saint-Léon IX. Kościół Saint-Léon de Nancy to neogotycki kościół zbudowany w latach 1860-1877 przez architekta Léona Vautrina (1820-1884). 22 stycznia 1859 r. Budowa rozpoczęła się w sierpniu 1860 roku pod kierunkiem architekta Léona Vautrina (który wkrótce wzniósł kościół Saint-Pierre niedaleko). Wbrew tradycji budynek będzie miał prezbiterium od zachodu. Najpierw zbudowano nawę, którą ukończono w 1862 roku, po czym wzniesiono prowizoryczny chór. Pierwszą mszę odprawiono w 1864 r. Zbudowano wieżę północną i otrzymano pięć dzwonów. Ostatecznie konsekracja kościoła nastąpiła w kwietniu 1877 r. (Ukończono chór i wieżę południową, wybudowano skwer). Saint-Léon to neogotycki kościół halowy, bardzo bogaty w witraże. L’église Saint-Léon de Nancy est une église de style gothique bâtie de 1860 à 1877[1] à Nancy par l’architecte Léon Vautrin (1820-1884).

L'église Saint-Léon de Nancy s'élève à l'ouest du centre-ville de Nancy, au sein du quartier Poincaré - Foch - Anatole France - Croix de Bourgogne, et à proximité de la gare de Nancy-Ville. L'église a d'ailleurs donné son nom au hall Saint-Léon de la gare, qui est situé en face d'elle, séparée par une esplanade et la rue Saint-Léon.

Le dernier étage des tours reprend la forme octogonale de celles de la cathédrale Saint-Étienne de Toul. Le buffet d'orgue fut réalisé par Eugène Vallin, le célèbre ébéniste de l'école de Nancy.
