Amazing cute little place. Macarons are not my favorite, but these are definitely worth the try (and money)!
I also definitely recommend trying the macaron icecream! We tried everything, and personally I can't say if I liked the icecream or macarons better. I was worried that the macaron icecream will be too sweet, but that was absolutely not the case! Flavours are well balanced and the icecream filling is either very tart (raspberry), bitter-ish (chocolate) or a tiny bit salty (caramel) to even out the sweetness of the macaron. The small/normal macarons are also insanely yummy and flavourful. I tried chocolate (it was basic but good), vanilla (also very basic but flavourful), pomegranate (amazing), orange chocolate (interesting but not for everyone), coffee (my favorite), orange flower water (another favorite) and chestnut (very neutral but still tasty).
We keep coming back every day while we are in Nice. Definitely a must-go place while in Nice. The lady in the shop was also super nice...
Read moreThe design of this place is very nice, but one of the workers are very rude. I was just looking at myself at the mirror, flipping my hair once due to it being in my face (I have bangs), and she came up to me, tapped my shoulder, and said “no”. No explanation, just no. Of course, I asked her “what?” And stepped away, but she just said “no” again, saying it wasn’t a hairdresser. I do know that, of course, but why would they have a huge ass mirror if I couldn’t look at it? Then the other worker explained that they liked to keep it sanitary - I wasn’t touching anything. Besides, another woman was also looking at the mirror and they hadn’t said anything to her. Not to mention, another lady had touched their utensils that were already set up and they also hadn’t said anything. Did I say that the two other women were white and I’m not? I don’t understand - I had remained in my zone. They must have also assumed that just because I’m a foreigner, I...
Read moreGuys, please choose any other boulangerie to try macarons, they are terrible there!! That’s basically the same you eat one spoon of jam, but not a dessert. And they just have strong social media and that’s all!!! The price is 1.80 eur per one, but later they say 2.20 eur per piece (I mean that’s a small difference but it is a scam!!) and it is not fair to say about the price difference only in the end (there was no info about price difference for dine-in). A regular cup of tea is 5 euros, that’s way too much. Plus on top of all of this it was a terrible experience because the stuff make fun of you thinking you don't understand French))) So please save your money and try something...
