I’ve been to Nice many times as it’s my favorite holiday destination. I’ve been coming to the city with my family since I was a kid and now on my own and this is by far the worst dining experience I’ve ever had here. The service was absolutely disgusting, specifically by our waiter—a tall guy with tattoos on his arms and short brown/dark hair.

From the moment we sat down, we were ignored. It took 10 minutes for us to realize that, while other guests who arrived after us were immediately given menus by their waiters, our waiter was too busy being on his phone to even acknowledge us. Eventually, I had to stand up and ask another server for the menus. He then called out our waiter, the two had some verbal brief argument and I went back to sit down.

When our waiter finally brought the menus, he rudely slammed them on the table without saying a word and walked away. We tried to brush it off, but it only got worse from there. We waited another 30 minutes to order, watching our waiter and his colleagues serve every table around us while completely ignoring us. Not once did he come back to check on us or take our order. He even spent over 7 minutes sat down at a table with two young girls, chatting with them and taking their order, while completely and at this point clearly intentionally ignoring us.

After being left sitting there for ages with no service, we decided to stand up and leave. It was clear that we were not going to be served at all. I don’t know what made our server be so disgusting towards us. I assume it’s because I asked his colleagues for the menus since we sat there for 10 minutes from when we came in and he was not serving us? Either way, as someone who works in the service industry myself and has bad days, that is no excuse for the awful treatment he gave us. This was hands down the worst experience I’ve had at any restaurant in Nice, and I do NOT recommend it to anyone. I’ll definitely never be going back. Lots of restaurants on the same street serve similar food and their staff are actually nice, attentive and don’t make you...

This place has really let us down. Classic tourist scam.

Food only looked nice, Rabbit was bland and the seafood pasta was definitely overpriced for what you get - let's be honest, you pay mostly for the seafood and not the pasta itself, but the quantity and the variety of the seafood was poor. The taste of the whole pasta dish was nice and the portions themselves were satisfying.

The scam itself was the classic "WATER SCAM". WATCH OUT FOR THIS BECAUSE IT IS THE MOST FREQUENT SCAM IN FRANCE. In France you are entitled to free tap water but what waiters do is not asking if you even want water but only ask "water still or sparkling?". We said "still" in a rush since it sounded as it wasn't coming at any additional cost but to our surprise we were brought a bottled water that cost whooping 6€ (what we saw later on our check).

This is the most disrespectful act that we've encountered during our whole stay in France, especially because we saw that french guests were given free tap water and you could clearly see that only tourists were forced to get that overpriced water.

This is just disrespectful and ruined our whole stay in the restaurant and also our evening.

Tables are really close to each other and another couple was seated next to us. They were so close that we could basically eat from their plates. Wine glasses that we were given were full of some fabric particles. At least it was warm in the terrace thanks to the heaters.

The only positive thing that we encountered was a bottle of wine that we were recommended by the waiter. He at least was honest about other overpriced wines and recommended the ones that were presenting somewhat of value for money.

Overall we weren't satisfied and came back home angry with no respect for this restaurant and ruined evening. This kind of places only show that French culture is the leading culture for...

Came here on the last day of our Nice trip and was expecting an easy meal since the restaurant looked quite empty. My friend and I both ordered pastas, but our waiter was strongly suggesting this shareable appetizer dish with mixed veggies and salad to order on top. We ordered but then the dish came with one tiny portion of salad and then some questionable meats that were definitely way too stale and old. They weren’t even chewable and the whole dish was drenched in oil. After an hour later, we still haven’t received our main entrees and we then start asking how much longer the food will take. The waiter says very soon so we don’t think too much of it. However, we also notice the same waiter displaying poor attitude to the table right next to us—like snatching their menus and throwing their pizzas on the table. 30 minutes later and our pastas are still not here and by now, we are worried for time since our flight leaves the same night. We tell the staff to just cancel our entrees and get the check, but the original waiter comes back and slams the dishes on our table as if we had been wronging him the whole time. We are beyond confused now, and they are also visibly annoyed for some reason at us. Another guy comes back to take our dish away and says they misunderstood and brought out the check instead. He didn’t say a single word and also didn’t apologize for his poor behavior but just left silently. Absolutely outraged by the disrespect they showed us and please avoid this restaurant. There are so many better alternatives than this along the...

In a highly trafficked area in Old Nice. Arrived 20 min early for an 8pm reservation (or so we thought) but apparently there was no res. (Weird because we were there when our hotel booked the reservation for us.) They were able to get us seated anyway… but outside was the only option. Super hot day but there ware misters some shade so it didn’t feel too bad. Lots of people watching and toward the end of dinner there were street musicians and a lot of liveliness! I opted for the 3 course menu and it was SO good, and a great value as well. I chose the calamari as a starter, salmon as entree, and a frozen yogurt strawberry bar for dessert. All for 32 euros. Service was super slow… think dinner took about 3 hours. I try not to control my Americanness in France in wanting everything to be 1.5 hrs on the dot lol, but this was unusually slow compared to the other dinners. They were absolutely slammed and you kind of feel like just a number but overall, the food and very affordable drinks (5 euro for wine pours) made up for the slow service!

I had an amazing evening. I was strolling through the Old town when I’ve stumbled upon this restaurant for a late lunch. It was a sunny day and I’ve wanted to enjoy the sunshine. The Terrace was perfectly facing the sunlight. They’ve offered a non stop service. I’ve ordered the set menu. When you’re in Nice, you can’t miss “Les petits Farcis”. It was delicious. The veggies were nicely filled with minced meat and very juicy. Perfectly cooked: with a little crunch on the outside. Followed by Lamb chops, served with potato purée and mix salad. Again perfectly cooked. Then to end it with Crème brûlée. It was devine! The staff was very welcoming, the service was quick and efficient. They even have baby chair. They were also very friendly with my son. I love their unique decor in the inside, with different painting and portraits. It was a perfect day, and I will definitely come back!!! ☺️ Perhaps I’d like to try their pizzas, cooked in the wooden oven.
