Genau das, was man hier erwartet.

Went with a group of girlfriends last night and was treated very rudely by the bartender when I simply asked for a soda water with lime...He acted incredibly perplexed/taken aback even though he and I both spoke English...Reluctantly he made one and then told my friend and I he was "busy" as we waited for the second one. When we stayed at the bar and asked again he reluctantly filled up a glass with warm water and left it just out of reach, avoiding eye contact with us the entire time. When pressed, he basically threw the ice and lime into the glass splashing in my face...Completely unacceptable way to treat customers. Just because we weren't ordering alcoholic drinks at that moment doesn't warrant such poor treatment. And to refuse customers water in the summer??? We won't be back.

We’ve been coming to Wakabar for two years. Almost every night. And tonight, you managed to disgust us forever. Even with the stamp, you treated us like criminals. You made us pay again — like thieves — when every bartender and even the owner knows who we are. But the worst part? Your security staff. Absolutely disgraceful. Rude, arrogant, aggressive. Total lack of class.

While they were humiliating us over a useless stamp, creepy guys were harassing girls, touching them, staring like predators – and you did NOTHING. No protection, no respect. Tonight I felt violated, disrespected, betrayed. And I paid for that feeling.

Even your wine was revolting – 10 euros for something that tasted like literal trash.

Well done, Wakabar. You just lost your most loyal customers. I will never step foot in your place again – and I’ll make sure people hear about how you really...

Waka vaka eeee The happiest place I have visited in Nice. Perfect location, overlooking the Promenade d'Anglais and the sea. We noticed it on the first day of our stay, a Saturday afternoon, while a band was playing and people had gathered to drink and dance around. One of the former Spice Girls 🥳 was also present and offered quite a spectacle. We decided to go there for a light snack after a late breakfast, ordering the Waka Ceasar Salad and the Waka Burger. Both were okay, but nothing to die for. In the end it's ok as it's just a snack bar so don't expect wow food. The berry spritz was nice and fresh. The service is okay, very much in keeping with the whole new and energetic vibe of the place. We paid 70 euros, for food, drinks and coffee, which is ok for what the bar offers in general. Will definitely recommend.

Situated next to the sea front and with both downstairs and balcony outside seating, the Waka Bar is the perfect place to watch the sunset in Nice Old Town while sipping cocktails. The food here mostly comprises snack meals, such as tapas, salads, burgers, etc. We opted for the chicken and cheese quesadilla and a plate of Waka loaded chips. The quesadilla was very tasty, and the loaded chips were OK, if not far too many, even for two people. The drinks were reasonably priced, with both basic and premium cocktails. There was a nice eclectic mix of staff who were all young and friendly. The Waka Bar also had a decent live music band playing on the evening that we visited, with a wide variety of music genres on their playlists. Overall, this was a very pleasant experience.

We stayed in Nice for three nights and came here for dinner on two of those nights. That's how much we loved it. The drinks were very generous. We ordered aperols and a frozen cocktail. The cocktail wasn't actually frozen but that wasn't an issue because it was a massive serving and very tasty. We also ordered the same meal both times. The first night we were right out the front of the bar overlooking the water and the second night we came early so got a spot on the balcony with a beautiful sunset view. We sat and had ice cream on the beach on our third night and they had live music on. It had such a great atmosphere and staff were super friendly. They also had a couple of vegan options and were willing to modify the menu :))
