This place with fresh ice creams and even fresher & unique flavours is something that was recommended to me by my French friend and her recommendation has again proven amazing. I tried for the first time flavours of Lavender and poppy flower - both were yummy and along with them I added my most favourite of all - Le Chocolate :) i could see that they had close to 30+ flavours which gives anyone visiting this place on multiple occasions a different flavour to savour each visit. The location is superb with other dessert shops all around this square and tram dropping just nearby. The two stars which I have given less is for one of the male staff member who acted rigid & rude for their ârule of giving customers just one tasting optionâ. The incident can be described in detail but my reasoning is simple - i was given a flavour to taste by another staff because and after purchasing 3 scoops i asked to taste one and yet such arrogance! He gave in but acted as if he had a huge favour giving an ice cream flavour to taste: you guys are selling ice cream which is supposed to bring a smile! Rules are made by us humans for a reason but should be subjective from...
Read more2 euros 50 centimes (cents) for 1 boule (scoop) of ice cream. There are multiple locations, this one is in the middle of a bunch of tiny streets with interesting shops. After I bought a boule from here I wandered further and found somewhere selling 1 boule for 2 euros so tried that one too BUT Fenocchio is MUCH much better. For 50 centimes I would splurge the little extra and get a good boule of ice cream rather than a terrible one.
I tried the caramel salted butter (caramel buerre sale) and was definitely not disappointed. Much saltier and creamier than other similar ice creams I've tried but in a good way. It's not a very large boule of ice cream - probably 2" or less in diameter but the price of the cup or cone is included and who needs ridiculous amounts of ice cream anyway?
Service was reasonably friendly. You're not allowed any samples so choose well, or...
Read moreMmmmm....Délicieux!!! This sweet treats shop has a wide host of dreamy flavors. I recommend 3 scoops of fun. 1st scoop, is a flavor you've previously eaten. For the 2nd scoop, try a popular flavor. The 3rd scoop should be a flavor that isn't on the "popular flavor" list because, they are the tasty hidden gems waiting to be discovered. I had the watermelon/pasteque, chocolate gelato, and Cactus. The Cactus-flavored scoop had the most complex layers of flavors that danced with deliciousness. If I could change one thing, I would allow customers to have more than one flavor...
