Staying at the Boat Haus is an unbelievable experience. We stayed in the Modern Boat Haus, and it was pure luxury, with AC in the lounge and double bedroom, two smart TVs, a fully equipped kitchen, but the best thing was the large, fresh cold water basically from the machine tap, so there was no requirement of walking to shops and buying bottles of water. The shower room was excellent, with a large open window, fully equipped with cupboard space, and a hairdryer, and the Rituals shower gel, shampoo and hair conditioner was just luxury. The outdoor shower was a blessing on the humid days, when you just want to stay aboard the Boat Haus. The outdoor shower had it's own wee terraced decking looking on to the Alcaidesa Marina. But, the best of all is the sun terrace on the roof, fully equipped with sunloungers, and very comfortable outdoor sofa and chairs. The view from the terrace is just beautiful and un believable. You can just watch life go by in a relaxed, personal way with a glass of wine, watching the sunset. The views from the Boat Haus is absolutely remarkable, waking up and seeing the Rock of Gibraltar, meanwhile, the fish within the Marina are swimming below you under the pontoons. The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. The 1972 Boat, serves bebidas and comidas should you wish to use, and it's a must. There has never been a time in my life that you can virtually walk to your airport, that's how close Gib airport is. The free bicycle use is amazing. Saved many a sore feet. But, it is the Staff who really make it. Loredana who is the liason, Meet and Greet goes above and beyond, ensuring you have everything you need. I will certainly miss our daily chats. My family from La Linea can only describe it as being precioso and muy impressante. The Boat Haus is a jewel...

We stayed in a Modern and had such a wonderful time. We were allowed to check in early, (which was such a relief as we had medication to refrigerate) and they'd thoughfully put the air-conditioning on so that when we walked in it was blissfully cool. There was a bottle of wine and chocolates waiting on a side table and plentiful hot water for our showers. The views and sunsets over the marina are stunning and in the other direction the rock. Everything was very clean and thought of (although we bought some clothes pegs for the clothes airer on the little deck off the main bedroom - otherwise there's potential for lighter/smaller items to fly away into the marina), we left them for the next visitor. There were all the pans and utensils you could need, microwave, kettle, toaster, hob, oil and vinegar, salt and pepper, toilet paper, towels, shower gel/shampoo/conditioner/hairdryer. You need to put toilet paper in the little bathroom bin, not flush. We ended up putting it straight out into the large bin at the front of the Haus Boat. There is a launderette in the marina, a little pop up food kiosk and a restaurant, it's all very secure with free parking right by the boats that are within a gated dock. You can easily walk out and into La Linea, to the beach and into Gibraltar. Loredana (I hope I spelt your name correctly?) made sure we had everything we needed and responded almost instantly via WhatsApp with any enquiries, she couldn't have been more lovely and helpful. They realised it was my birthday while we were there and delivered a bottle of wine! I can't wait to go back. Thank you all so much for being...

Stayed here in off season, early Jan 2025, and it was very good experience. The manager sent me message ahead via WhatsApp (seems like it's common in Europe some hotels communicate via WhatsApp, so you may want to download/install ahead) and was very helpful for all my needs. Parking, check-in, breakfast arrangement, etc. I would recommend anyone to stay here if you would go Gibraltar. Few notes: It's walking distance to Gibraltar (and it's airport). There are a few restaurants in very walking distance. They're decent casual restaurant. Boat was relatively calm even in 25mph wind in one night. Breakfast can be delivered in certain time in the morning. If you would leave early like me, they can deliver breakfast in the previous night. Shower was hot and decent pressure. AC (heater) works really well. There is no daily room cleaning, but you can request with extra cost. The only drawback was you can't flush toilet paper. Probably because of preventing clogging the waste pipe.

Overall, I was really satisfied with the property and its manager (forgot asking his name) and definitely recommend this...

I'm a bit torn here. The weather was a big factor in our stay and I can't fault the owners. However, it didn't seem safe in a wind storm. We rocked like a roller coaster all night with the deck furniture upstairs being thrown around all night. It felt like it was going to rip apart, but everything was fine. It's just impossible to sleep with everything slamming against the boat all night. Again though, can't blame them for the weather. We enjoyed the boat and found it really cozy comfy otherwise. One disconcerting part is that when we woke up mushrooms had sprouted over night in the corners of the room and all out from around the toilet, which is also where you shower (wet bath) so it appears moisture had been an issue on the boat. It left us feeling less than clean while there. The location although not in Gibraltar is very nice with several restaurants around and a very short walk to the customs border at GIB. You'll likely get a 5 star stay if it isn't winter, but the wind and moisture issues make winter a no for us from now on.
