Elounda Rofos Boat — Local services in Region of Crete

My wife and I decided at the last minute that we wanted to take a boat tour for the sunset before we had to head back home the next day. We called around and Rofos was the only boat available, We had no idea what to expect. Katarina and her daughter Marina gave us a private tour around Elounda and then headed to a spot to enjoy the sunset. It was a cloudy afternoon and we did not even know if there would be anything to see. I think the pictures show that it was a beautiful experience. Katarina and Marina were the best hosts. We also did not know if there was any snacks but we were offered beer wine and soda's and then her and her husands homemade bread (like a soft Dakos) and family made olive oil with tomatoes and the best olives ever. There was also meat and feta and fruit. Katarina told us all about the area and we even talked about what it was like to become a sea captain and to live in Elounda. We spent had a wonderful 4 hour morning cruise on the Elounda Rofos boat yesterday with friends. It was definitely the highlight of our holiday in Crete. Katerina and Giannis were wonderful hosts- so warm and welcoming. The boat was charming and spotlessly clean and had everything for a fun time on the water-snorkels, noodles, floats including Siphis (?) the alligator and karaoke! The homemade food was beautifully presented and so delicious- local specialities plus pasta, salad and a fruit platter for dessert. We sailed around Spinalonga and got a good view of the island from the water, and then headed onto some coves and even a cave for swimming (Giannis took the boys to the cave as us adults were tired!). My 2 boys (aged 15 and 12) said they had the best day and wholeheartedly agree. All in all an amazing experience. Thank you!

Had a lovely boat trip with Rofos from 14:30 to 18:30. Both members of the crew were very friendly and kind. We had about 18 people Inc kids on the trip that we booked but the boat was quite big enough. There was music while travelling... Which I guess wouldn't be to everyone's taste, but I'm perfectly happy with Nirvana at sea 😊. The trip was lovely taking you around spinalonga and to various swimming spots, first in a small cave and then to crystal clear waters. A late lunch was provided, which was surprisingly lovely and fresh, consisting of chicken, greek salads, potatoes, bread, pasta and beetroot. Plus beer, wine, water and soft drinks too. The trip back was also lovely with everyone just chilling on the boat. We were lucky enough to sit at the back dangling legs into the ocean as we pushed back to Elounda.
