After many years of coming to Elounda we finally made it to Palio Kantoui and can only join the many others who sing it's praises, many times the locals have recommended it and I wish now I had listened to them earlier, the location is stunning with an epic view across the bay, the taverna is traditional cretan in appearance and had a very intimate feel to it, the family run ethos extends to a warm welcome, a level of customer care that can only be attained through dedication that larger establishments cannot hope to match, the food there is amongst the finest I have tried in Crete and I shall be returning there again to sample more of the delights that are on offer. The service was super friendly, attentive and professional. The food was the best we had in Eloundas.
