It was too delicious and I didn't take a photo before I started eating. This was an awesome hidden gem I never would have found without google. I've made a personal goal of trying fish and chips all around the world and this was the best one so far out of Canada, Ireland, Scotland, and of course Iceland! The tartar sauce was super tasty and I highly recommend it (yellow in the photo). Portion size was very hearty too with a double piece and the only reason I wanted to get more was so I could have it later. Super friendly service, found they were from southern Iceland and they had some lovely recommendations for the rest of our trip!

Oh wow! We wanted to try fish and chips and found this food truck with good reviews. First try it was closed. But second attempt we made it like 20 minutes to closing time (7:30pm), but Helki was ready to cook perfectly our plates with a smile. Super friendly and nice. I haven’t tried other fish and chips here but his were SO delicious! And try the Icelandic tartar with remoulade sauce, and don’t forget to put the included salt over your fries! Perfect touch!

You can have fish n chips in a lot of places. But none of them will be like the ones from Pablo's fish n chips. The chips are deliciously seasoned. And so is the fish. I didn't leave a single crumb. The price is good. And to top it all off, the owner was a gem! Friendliest person we've met on Iceland. We've shared good stories and laughs. 10/10 will recommend it to anyone. I will be back!

Initially planning to go on Monday but we left with despair after finding out Pablo wasn’t open 😣. Pulled up at the end of the day on Tuesday with lucky timing about 15 mins before he shut her down after a grueling 12.4km hike - I come up to the window and ask Pablo for some chippy - he had 2 chippies left, perfect for me and my friend that were fiending for Pablo since the start of our trip a week ago. After the inquiring about our country of Origin and frying one of the absolute best chippies I had in my life, Pablo mentioned he had a weird request. Nothing was weird about this request as Pablo asked me and friend to close down the roof on the truck as he was closing shop for the day. It was an absolute honour to do this for him 🫡- closing the roof on the truck was a metaphor for the perfect end to my Iceland trip - If I ever come back you best believe I’m letting Pablo have...
