Hraðlestin — Restaurant in Reykjavik

We ordered 2 veg Thalis this week , to our shock one portion of the thali was a Kerala mixture Kind of mixture , who on earth would give this in a Thali ….also one curry was fully stuffed with round potatoes ….. you can imagine what would have happened if I had eaten so many potatoes , the samosa take away had a hair inside … I hope they use the necessary precautions to prevent this ….. lastly no dessert in the thali …. We are very disappointed by the taste of food .A thali has to be authentic as a normal Indian thali should be and not to make something for the sake of making and Giving ….. sorry to say but very much disappointed to say...

I was trying to order food a little bit past 8 but the website did not allow me to order. So I decided to call yet nobody answered, stayed on for a while until I realized I could order from wolt which worked. Except the staff canceled my order! Very upset about this, I have often ordered later than I did today. Just so strange that the ordering process is so difficult, they should at the very least fix...

Echoing the other reviews. The ambience is great. The staff are very friendly and pleasant. Great service. Unfortunately the portion size is terrible. The taste is alright, if you've been away for over three years. Mostly the same thing as one would make out of tins and cans. Would probably not visit again since there's a reduced lunch menu too.
