More like a 4.25/5. Better than a 4 due to its value for money. U can get soo much meat, and it all tastes pretty good. Nothing special, but pretty good. So when ure hungry in a super expensive place like iceland, splurge abit, and eat what would have normally cost u 200 dollars in terms of meat. We went for a few rounds, and the meats were probably the better things. The fried sides (onion rings n stuff) were oily and soggy and tasted a little bitter (like old oil taste). But everything else was great. Pretty wide selection and good quality given the price. (As if u pay for one main in a restaurant). Just rather inaccessible by foot.

A great place to eat if ure...

Some other reviews say this place is amazing but I think this is by Icelandic standards. As an American, I have frequented my fair share of buffets and this is nothing special. They have your typical hot and cold food stations. The hot food wasn't anything to write home about. They had local specialties like their cod and cheese dish but it was pretty subpar. They have a nice salad bar which is very rare for Iceland. As a note, the whole place is in Icelandic from the speech to the labels on the food so be prepared with Google translate. This restaurant does have chicken, onion rings, fries, etc so if you're missing American classics like these, you'll...

We were a group of 4 people, very hungry after the flight and a ride from the airport. I was looking for some restaurant to eat. I am so glad I found this place ! The food was amazing! The price was good! We left so full and satisfied. We tried so much different things! I can highly recommend this place for hungry tourists!!! My sisters loved the chicken teriyaki, I really liked the white fish and some other fish but I am not sure how it was called. For the first time in my life I tried some potatoes that were prepared in a different way that I never tried. We also had tea and sweets included in the price as you can help yourself with...

If you’re looking for a great place to eat in Iceland, Salatbarrin Íslandia is definitely worth a visit. It’s an all-you-can-eat buffet offering a wide selection of fresh, high-quality dishes. From salads and soups to hot mains and delicious sides, there’s something for everyone. The food is very diverse, with plenty of healthy and hearty options. It’s a spot that’s also popular with locals, which is always a good sign. On top of that, the value for money is excellent, especially considering how expensive eating out in Iceland can be. Whether you’re after a quick lunch or a relaxed meal.
